She is a great singer but needs to write her own songs (that are good) and then get them out there to get noticed and eventually get picked up by a label.

Maybe she is happy with doing primarily cover songs and not in the crazy world of mega stars. She is certainly talented enough! She has another life as a kinesiologist, mom, and wife. Not many big stars can claim that kind of private life.

Never heard this song before, so after listening to Nikki I had to go and watch ONJ's version. I have to say that you have smashed this out of the park, and for me, it is by no means an easy feat to better the original. You should be touring your native Australia and further afield with your tribute to the great ONJ. I don't know of anyone here in the UK who performs such a tribute. 👌

Honestly, I wasn't sure about hearing a cover of ONJ, but you really are better than I expect, every time I hear you. I like this as much as the original, and I don't say that easily. EDIT: Listened to this like 15 times. This is radio-worthy. People release thin and synthetic remakes of stuff all the time. Why can't something this good get to the radio?
