One older gal to a younger, learn your yarns. Acrylic yarns, all of them, are made out of plastics, that includes polyester. Wools are more expensive but, they have so many benefits that acrylic doesn’t give you. For instance, wool will keep you warm, even when wet. Also, wool lasts longer, way longer. Some folks in Norway have knitted wool items from 200 years ago. Wool has a more polished look to it. If your going to invest good money into your yarn, pick one that last long and fits into your pattern. Now, acrylics have their perks too. It can go into the washer and dryer and will keep its shape. Down side, you can’t dye acrylic but you can dye wool..... even with kool aid colors! Good luck to you. I really enjoyed this video. 😊
