I love the way Ana sat quietly until it was her turn to get attention. She started signing that she was so pretty. Sometimes the quiet one doesn't get noticed as much as the drama queen. They are precious. Love every minute I can watch them.

Yes. Egg, grated onion with grated potatoes, salt , sour creme. A bit of flour if potatoes are TOO fresh and watery. I started using green onions instead of regular for a brighter taste. Then eaten with apple sauce on the side. Oh. German pancake needs to be tried. Baked in the oven like a soufflé.

I love being able to go back and forth and watch their development and personalities come more into focus. They really are precious and make my day. ❤❤❤🥰

You can buy potatoes that are already shredded to make it easier for you. They even have frozen shredded root vegetables, I think they're potatoes, carrots & sweet potatoes that I've used for hashbrowns or latkes. Also, if you shred zucchini with a little bit of carrots and make pancakes out of them & those are very good. I used to serve those with a tarragon mayo that was very good & I'm not much of a mayo lover. Keep the videos coming bc watching your little family brings a smile to my face❤❤

The girls' exact imitation of mama and dada doing the " mmmmmm" sound with the up and down intonation is so amusing, i just want to laugh!! It's so encourages them to eat and enjoy their food! For Chanukah, these "latkes" are tradition! ...eith applesauce or sour cream. Using the food processor shredder disk makes it easy! For finer texture, try using the blade and make mini latkes for them! You can try sweet potatoes, zucchini, broccoli, etc depending on their preferences! You're both so great at creating such a diverse menu!!

One of my treats I make myself is German pancakes and I never use anything but the manual graters, and I love them with sour cream, and sometimes I have them with applesauce after for dessert. Of course I always put finely chopped onion in them. I’ve been watching you guys and the twins now for well over a week and now I’m hooked! They are sweet as pie! I figured by their age that they were aquarians and I was right, their bday is February 5th. My baby girl’s bday is February 6th. She is 44! I’m in southern Saskatchewan. Those were spectacular cakes they had on their bday. I told my daughter about the cakes and she said they sounded yummy, and wanted one, lol!

In Jewish culture, potato pancakes are called Latke(lot-kah), are fried in oil, and served with applesauce and sour cream. It’s a traditional dish served during Hanukkah. They’re delicious! Some people also put some grated onion in it, and season it with salt, pepper, and a little garlic.

In New Zealand we call them Potato Fritters. My mother made them and I make them. You can also make Cream Corn Fritters the same way just swap out the Potato for Cream Corn. I just use the corn from a tin but you can probably make it yourself if you prefer :)

I made potato pancakes with leftover mashed potatoes and my sons (and husband and I) loved them. My in-laws were German and my sweet mother-in-law used to make potato pancakes and said they were basically like hash browns. However, there are many different things you can add to the mix. Some sweet and some savory. Mommy and Daddy's food always tastes better! HAHAHA! Enjoy your day!

Wow more please no worries did you teach them sign language? I am 68 and I can’t remember much about my Son when he was that little. I did take him to Frishs Big Boy and he ordered Bam Bams. He couldn’t say Pancakes. I might of already told you this story. I just enjoy watching the babies. I am in Ohio. My Son was born in 1982. He passed in 2021. You are a great Mother cooking all the different foods for them.

Looks good! I sometimes make potato pancakes with leftover matched potatoes. It’s been a long time. Seems like I did an egg, little milk, little flour. You could add cheese I suppose or chives etc. good use of leftover potatoes.
