It took me 55 years to eat Brussels Sprouts. They looked so funny with the Brussels Sprouts. Anastasia and Guin. were laughs for me. I have not overlooked the twins, I have been and still sick.

I adore the way they give the side eye to each other with a new food. We fed our son everything under the sun and he just ate what ever was served! No second third or 4th choices here. At 22 he’s more adventurous than his old mom and dad. I love the ten minutes of joy your family shares and thank you! I’ve a long wait for my grand baby.

I am with Ana and not a fan of Brussels sprouts. I worked in the dietary department of a hospital through college and served them with melted mozzarella WAY too many times lol! The pasta looks delicious, however! I love how Ana brushes every crumb of foods she doesn’t like off her tongue lol!! Too cute!!

I never would eat Brussel sprouts until I was around 60-4 years ago. My daughter in law made them, and she used balsamic vinegar and maybe olive oil. They were delicious!!! She said to buy them fresh. You are doing a wonderful job with exposing the girls to all the different foods!

I call that LOVE EYES. My 5 month old, has that on a picture. He was being photographed and crying. They had me stay behind a curtain. Then he wouldn't stop fussing, they called me out. BIG LOVE EYES from my son. They took the picture. He is smiling and love eyes. They know!

Ana did a good job of not eating brussels sprouds. It's difficult to digest and often causes stomach ache if it is only cooked for a short time.

It seemed like Anastasia got tired of chewing the brussel sprouts and wanted to try the noodles, so out came the brussel sprouts!! I notice that when daddy is there, they are more distracted with their eating than when he isn't, which is understandable!! Anastasia makes sure that each piece of food is in its place if it doesn't go in her mouth!

OH MY…the girls were a lot of fun today. I liked when Anastasia put a brussel sprout in her mouth and Guinevere was watching her for the “OK” that it was good and then she tried one too. I like brussel sprouts either roasted or steamed with a little butter and salt. I don’t like them when they’re bitter. When they’re not bitter, they’re very good. 💕

I love watching these two! I think they are very adventurous with their eating. Maybe because they are next to each other they are watching thier sister eat also that helps them to eat new food. I never had twins but besides my daughters, grandkids and my preschool kids I have never seen kids eat as well as your sweet girls!

@@aliciabarton3497 yes it helps to try new things when you see someone else eating what is right in front of you! But I am thinking two things. 1) your food looks so yummy and child friendly. Just seeing it on your videos makes me hungry!? Lol! I may never make lemon pancakes but I will have the recipe! 2) at first I thought it was because they are the same age. The way I think this is because of my granddaughter. My daughter her Mother is a foodie and makes delicious dishes like you! My almost three granddaughter won't try even if everyone is eating and saying how good it all is. From my experience teaching and as an Education Coordinator for Head Start, many kids will not try new food no matter how many peers are eating it. I have heard it takes sixteen times to see food before a child will try a new food! So you are way ahead of the curve! Congratulations I feel like they are not going to be picky eaters, hopefully?!

Brussel sprouts are an acquired taste.. Great that the girls tried them!! I like them as long as they are not bitter!! So cute how they had smiles when daddy came home!!❤❤😊😊 so precious ❤❤

In the UK they now grow a strain of Brussels Sprout that is supposed to not be bitter because that’s the reason most people dislike them. Have to say … I’m still not convinced !🤣

OMGosh we are having fresh Brussel sprouts today with nutritional yeast on top. Sometimes I shred them- steam and then do a wee bit of oil, salt and pepper. Our kids love Brussel sprouts. 😃 They also loved rutabaga shredded, steamed with butter, salt, pepper. They ♥ all the vegetables in the Brassica family. Alicia you do such great videos!!
