Ana was sitting there playing with another toy as the fireworks were going. The only time she went to her Mom was to see the fireworks better and kiss the camera. I love how laid back Ana is with everything.

The contrast between the two of them was so funny. Gwen heard daddy letting off fireworks and at the very first sound she shook with every fiber of her being and ran to mom. Ana just sat completely relaxed in her chair completely unfazed by it all. Gwen really feels big emotions and Ana is very take it as it comes. Both absolutely adorable in their individualities.

The comfort of a mama's (or Dad's) arms can never be replaced.

Anna is such a trooper! Always brave… never needing help with her food, not worried about dirty hands…. Such an independent little girl! I love her!

Ana is such a brave girl. So proud of her and loved seeing her and dad have a little qt in the video. Very endearing. Guin, I’m right there with you girl, I was terrified of fireworks when I was a kid. I know this is random but watching how scared guin got made me think of little kids their age in war torn countries who live with hearing those scary noises daily and served as an additional reminder of just how important the 4th of July is to our nation and what it represents. She picks up on the slightest noise. It’s quite impressive. There was some sort of alarm ringing nearby their house a few weeks ago and she could hear it. The aeroplanes etc. Hope you enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations.

I had sensitive hearing and did not find out until my 50's. Loud noises always hurt my ears more than others so it's very possible she also hears at a higher register. Or, she's just a typical 2 year old watching fireworks for the 1st time 😊.

Gwen obviously does not like loud sounds. Never has. Ana is much more chill.

I too have had a fear of fire works since being young i really feel for Guin! But she was super brave for trying that second part even though she prob knew she was scared from the first part well done Guin!!! And Ana clearly loves this stuff i am glad she enjoyed it! I hope Guin is okay bless her!

Alicia, Ana is tough, you are so lucky to have these beauties, love their outfits.

My granddaughter was terrified of fireworks. When she was about 5 she helped my son put the whole display together on a large board. She helped him carry it out and place it in the yard. Then she took her seat with us and watched my son light them off. She loved it. I think knowing where the fireworks came from and helping build the display made her feel like everything was under control and she was safe. I was amazed. She’s 19 now. My son is an expert in safe fireworks and has put on some beautiful displays. He and his old Air Force buddies have built large displays. Once lit the whole show is timed to go off without further lighting. The one my granddaughter helped with was small and built in my husband’s shop. She was the only one allowed to help. She was so proud! Grandmothers get to witness some of the most wonderful things. Loved watching your girls!

The twins are adorable in their little chairs! I love their cute little legs! They are twins but will find out as they grow older they have different likes and dislikes. Guin doesn’t like fireworks (or the ocean waves, robots, monkeys); but Ana was just in her element- calling out the different colors. I just felt sorry for Guin. I just wanted to reach in and pick her up. I think it’s the loud sound. Even with earphones, your body can tell there are noises. Even when they are eating, when Guin hears a noise she jumps.😢

They are so cute sitting in their chairs. Ana was chilled and loving the fireworks. Poor Guin wanted mom to keep her safe.❤️

Glad the girls got experience their firework shows in style. They were rocking the headsets. I need a pair ! I agree with Ana The Yellow Red and Green are the best !

Ii thought Gwen would be the one afraid of the fireworks. Remember, she was nervous and scared around the monkey at the zoo. She seems more dependent on her dad. It is normal for children to be afraid of the lights, smoke and noise. Anna is such an independent child. It is interesting to see how each one reacted. They have had the same previous experiences, but things affect them in different ways. Thanks for lettiing us see their different personalities. I love both of them.❤❤

Lol so many little ones were startled by this years fire works show where I live. You could literally hear wailling after the show. ❤❤❤

Hard to watch little Guin and her pitiful face, she wasn't acting..and then listen to her crying to go home. Probably not the only one in the group at the display. Ana seemed to Really like it. But at home she kind of tried to ignore it after a bit and just play with a toy. so not she what she was thinking. The shorts and shoes so cute. Im not in favor of all the noise. Could do a super laser show with music instead.

My dad would put me on his shoulders in Belmar ,, they had them at silver lake. But I can relate , because I remember feeling a little nervous/ anxious too.

Most children don't. Until maybe 7 or 8 years old.

They looked so cute in their shirts w their pinwheels. Ana traded her pinwheel for a net & a fish. 🤗Anastasia likes the colors. Yelyo, red, purple & green. She is loving them. Sensory overload for these little ones. Ana tolerated it better and longer, but had a worried look. Prolonged loud noises can be very stressful on these young ones.
