Yessir!
Do all the twins gloves fit the same? I got some basic black ones for now but would like some ones with a design on but didn't know if the fit was the same through them all.
Awesome review🙌
Super informative and quality review. 👌I had a pair of Twins for well over 8 years. Keen to get another pair. How do they compare to Yokkao gloves in terms of price, quality and comfort?
@combat_corp

They are pretty close but I think Yokkao overall is a softer glove and just personally I like them little more

@@combat_corp You said the Twins are smaller or a more compact version of Windy and more poppy. Have you meant the inside of the gloves? Which one has more room inside, the Windy's or Twins, please?
Should i buy Top Ten AIBA approved boxing gloves or Twins BGVL3 for boxing, bag works ?
Twins approved stores don’t work right now and nuak isn’t selling to us for most gloves
I was thinking of getting twins or rival RB50 for bag work and pads what do you think is a better choice? I train muy Thai by the way.

If you're partial to thai gloves, might be a good idea to go with twins but the rb50 is a great bag/mitt glove in general
Please do a review of PRIMO semi leather boxing gloves pls. 🙏

@combat_corp Thanks a lot !! all your reviews are so useful ! see u at the top champ🔥🔥
I've tried the Twins in 14oz (airflow version) but my fingers felt so cramped! My pointy and middle finger go beyond the foam and I was afraid I might damage the leather/stitching if I make a fist. Do you think the 16oz are larger and have a longer finger compartment? Since Alistair Overeem wears them, I'm sure he doesn't have small short hards 😛

I believe most thai brands actually do shorten the gloves the lower in weight you go unlike other brands that just reduce the padding to them. So I think they would but I do apologize ahead of time if they don't. They fit my fat hands pretty nicely!

they are , i own 10oz through 16 oz twins both velcro and lace up , the hand compartment is for sure wider and the the finger area is deeper/longer i have medium hands and basically 10oz are like skin tight kinda kills my thumb , 12oz feels perfect , 14oz feels good some extra room though i can fill with wrapping the loose area little extra ( wrist ) , and the 16oz make feel like i have little girl hands lmao lol
Was thinking of getting these in 16oz specifically for Muay Thai sparring. Is the foam padding in these or the top boxer win1's or ring to cage c17 best for sparring? Thanks!

I think for muay thai sparring, I'd go with these over topboxers just because topboxers do open well but not QUITE as well as a thai glove will

@@combat_corp thanks for the response! How about windy vs twins for sparring? I always hear about twins being pillowy which is what I want, but how's the padding on Windy's? Thanks
I heard that Twins or basically a lot of Thai brands had a pretty long break in period. How long for you to break them in?

Maybe a few days of heavy bag work but I also train every single day multiple hours and times a day too. They came out of the box decently soft though
Between this (twins bgvl3) and the fairtex bgv6, which padding is friendlier to your sparring partner?
Whihc boxers use these? Im looking for my first gloves, doing both boxing and muay thai. Unsure if i should go with boxing or muay thai gloves, eg superior gloves or these. Or something like fairtex bgv14 which might be like a hybrid? Are there any others that are decent for both sports? Maybe a thai glove with decent wrist support?
@combat_corp

Pacquaio used to use these these but I see a lot of guys at the matweather club if you watch their videos use these.

A good hybrid I say is the sanabul brand as well as things such as superior/winning. I really like infinitude as well. A good hybrid for me as well is the fortress ss.2

@@combat_corp cool cool, will look into those. The primo emblem 2.0 also seems like a hybrid? I'm leaning towards the standard superior boxing ones rn, will expand the collection anyway once I'm deeper into both sports
should I choose twins or fairtex as my Thai gloves I really can't make a choice😂
How would you compare these to the Combat Corner HMIT Thai style gloves?
@combat_corp

I think they are just about as padded, I think the twins are slightly more comfortable and smaller as far as height

Would you recommend 14 ounce gloves for me. I weigh 160 pounds I'm 5' 10" tall and have a small hands. I would be using the gloves for sparring, pads and heavy bag.

Twins by a huge gap! I use both 160z and the forearm aches after heavy bag work after using the Fairtex.. Love both, Fairtex is good for anything while twins great for heavy bag and sparring I’m 87kg, fast and hard boxer, intermediate standard..
Hi! Are these gloves also good for standard boxing or the short wrist could be a problem?
@combat_corp

So these gloves for me offer decent wrist support and I've met multiple boxers who love Twins. Manny Pacquaio actually used Twins for a while. However, you could just get laced pairs if you want to avoid the short velcro strap

How do Windy's foam padding compare to the for sparring? Thanks!

Windy traditional gloves for me have more of a punchers feel compared to the pillow style of the twins gloves!
@juhlian4255
Жыл бұрын
I have a pair of windy classics in synthetic leather, theyre great gloves, but the padding is prety stiff and needs a lot of breaking in if you wanna spar with them. padding is very stiff and they get pretty damn hot. still would highly reccomend them if you want an affordable pair of training gloves
@RyFo116

@@juhlian4255 it's between the top boxer win1's and twins. I do want lace ups and a fun color which win1 offers in their dark green. Twins only offers 4 basic colors. Plus I kinda want to have something unique at the gym lol. We're a JJ gym that guy a Muay Thai class almost 2 years ago

For bag work if you are competing as an amateur get the AIBA gloves. You want to get used to what you would be competing in for sure
