Extraordinary music coming from within cannot be replicated with technically perfect singing and perfectly engineered pop music of today
@alextomlinson
2 жыл бұрын
Majority of modern day pop music is for brain dead people who listen to the music for different reasons. Instead of listening to the music because it has a meaning and a message you can relate to /agree with/ the music resonates and talks to who you are and what you value. They don’t do that. They listen because it’s catchy, popular and is void of any real meaning. A mindless song with no message or meaning. May as well be listening to elevator music or phonecall hold music. It has no substance to it. It’s just noise. I have listened to such music and sometimes still do. Drum and bass for example is largely lyric-less but I listen because it resonates with the rage and anger I’m feeling. Other times it elevates my energy. Music with no meaning comes with an emotional aspect. Sad people listen to sad songs etc. I don’t understand how some people can listen to any old pop music and it doesn’t help them to feel any emotions or doesn’t have any meaning. It’s like the music/people have lost their ability for expression in art and therefore naturally gravitate towards the opposite.. The non expression or avoidance of expression
@Humble-iq5ue
2 жыл бұрын
@@alextomlinson there's some really great Drum and Bass music. Especially of the liquid Funk variation. But you make a great point overall.
@alextomlinson
2 жыл бұрын
@@Humble-iq5ue I’ve tried to understand why and how some people are able to relate to and enjoy what I like to call pointless music. It doesn’t serve a purpose to the listener. It doesn’t have a message or carry any meaning and it doesn’t evoke any emotion either. But I think that IS precisely the reason. People who aren’t self expressive can relate to music that isn’t really expressing anything. If the music is expressing something, whether it’s an emotion or a message or story, they are unable to relate to it. They might enjoy the sounds but the message or meaning will be lost on them. They are unable to pick up on or relate to the expressive art element

If anyone would like to experience the inspiration to this song read the Book of Daniel. They can rename his servants after false gods but they could NEVER turn them from the one true God they serve. That’s why when they were cast in the flames The Lord himself Freed them and brought them out. Their faith didn’t waiver so neither should ours Stay Strong my brothers and sisters The Lord will deliver us from all that causes pain and captivity in this life

Great song, great rhythm, and nice sentiment, but please be fair. Without out any evidence on earth of God, I mean physical evidence, you can't claim this or that as truth. An ancient book written by man is not evidence. Now, having faith, might be your source of comfort, which I have no problem with, but the problem here is your assessment of reality because your life must have so much 'pain and captivity' if you need to believe a man-made character will come and save you without any serious evidence presented.

@@irielion3748 the evidence of God surrounds you, it's everywhere. Even demons acknowledge the existence and divine presence of God. Look in the mirror and there will be the evidence of God looking back at you. Today is the day of salvation. Repent and ask Christ to come into your heart as your Lord and Saviour
@irielion3748
4 жыл бұрын
@@pilgrim5355 You are sadly deranged! Please seek help immediately. Talking about demons? I mean sort your head out. They only exist in the movies. Christ, whilst acknowledged as likely a living person years ago, doesn't mean he was divine. Certainly not seen as divine in Judaism. The Bible doesn't prove god. Need I go on? Faced against a mountain of evidence showing you there is nothing but fiction in religion, you wildly choose to believe. You need your head tested.

Extraordinary music coming from within cannot be replicated with technically perfect singing and perfectly engineered pop music of today
@alextomlinson

@@alextomlinson there's some really great Drum and Bass music. Especially of the liquid Funk variation. But you make a great point overall.
@alextomlinson

@irielion3748

Lately, I keep coming back to this vershun, pure & simple d&b. Have Faith in Jah. So right, Brethren.
