Having good tires always makes you faster

When l use to write articles for Nissan Sport Magazine l had to answer questions from readers. Some had experienced loss of power after putting on aftermarket wheels and tires. After consulting with Nissan engineers l found out if you varied the outside diameter of the front and rear tires relative to the stock ratios more than 3% the ECU started thinking there was wheel spin and cut full power to the engine. I never changed the diameter of tires on my C6 but recommend you consult with Chevy engineers if you can regarding this. I wouldn't trust people on forums unless they have direct access to the engineers that designed the C6. You know how it is, everyone thinks they are an expert on-line 🙄. Good luck. Your C6 is the same color combo as mine was.

Not a fan of the wheels that you had on before with the rivets but the drag pack is beautiful! That's my dream car!

Enjoy watching your builds. The tpms bomb didn't work for my C6z06 after a fee miles of driving.

To be honest in the past I’ve never really liked vettes. However I do own a 67 SS 327 Camaro black w/white belts so I’m not a Chevy hater I was actually brought up that way. I must say your build and the way you go about building your car has got me interested. If I were to one up the. Model you have is first followed close by the zr1. Check out streetspeed717, his zr1 us just insane. I've come to think vettes are peak vehicle for the price. Can't beat the sound, the speed, the reliability, and the looks for that price, and in a manual it easily competes with the crazy 10 speeds.

you have to drive the newer ( c-5 and c-6 LOL) to see how nice they are. I have been a fox mustang guy forever...and I still have a 10 sec street piece, ..i bought a c5.....BRAKES! HANDLING! i realllly like the c5. good time to buy...deals out there...

Sick. I have an 850whp mustang 6spd, got MT ET R bid ply in rear and radial front runners. It’s still not hooking well. Going to try the radials now and see if that fixes it. I feel you on spinning all day lol.

Amy problems with the 28s rubbing at the battery box in the rear? Wanting to do a 305/40r18 mickey on the rear of my Z06. And have you had to raise the car any?

So chris im looking to get a set of two rear welds 17x11 and im torn between the 305/45/17 and the 315/35/17. What are your reviews of your tire setup vs the “35” sidewall and i also was looking into bias ply tire vs radial any thoughts man?
