TWIN SQUARE BOWLS WITH LIDS, woodturning
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Welcome back to my KZread channel, in this week's video I made 2 square bowls from the results of 1 woodcut project and produced 2 square bowls with lids, made of various types of wood, for finishing using beeswax, I hope my video can be useful

The way the squared lines don't align in the center completely messes with my ocd... I wouldn't be able to stand looking at these everyday 😂
Your mind works in a way mine does not. Your ability to see how each addition of wood color and grain will result in the intricate designs you can then cut, manipulate, glue and turn is just beyond me!! Working with wood is something I’ve always wanted to do but other than a semester in college I live vicariously through you. Thank you for taking the time to provide these videos of your creation of stunning works of art!

The craftsmanship of the pieces you make before you even start turning it amazing ... as with comments below, I love your seemingly infinite ability to cut/glue/cut/etc repeatedly to produce unique and interesting patterns in the wood ... and as always, you then add in the turning to create quite simply astounding works of art 👍

Get rid of those carbide scrapers and buy some good bowl gouges, they are faster and produce a much smoother finish. I know your layout was very good because the edges were the same thickness, I’d love to own a nice piece like that!
Now I want some! They are PERFECT!

I recently discovered your channel and I'm learning so much by watching your work. Outstanding craftsmanship! Thanks so much for sharing your approach. I'm wondering though, what is the glue spreader you're using? It looks like foam or rubber but I've never seen it before. Looking forward to more of your creations!

It's such a pleasure and a treat watching you work. The intricacies of the design and the workmanship, with all the cuts and joins, always amazes me. I know that if I tried even half of what you do, I'd simply end up with sawdust and firewood. Thank you for your hard work and making us part of it.

With each new video I am stunned by your art of creating harmony by combination of colours. And this kind of design reminds me a bit of Asian Stupas. Was this your intention or is it simply my fantasy creating this association? However: what you created are once again extant examples of beauty and harmony. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you very much for your great attention to my work, at first I just wanted to make a square bowl without a lid, but I thought it would be great if you used a lid, with a spontaneous idea, a lid was formed that really resembles a mosque dome
