I am a professional actor & voiceover artist and in this video I parody the character of Freddie Sykes that I played in the 2017 U.S Television Show 'Twin Peaks: The Return' by dubbing him in a Scouse (Liverpool) accent. This was done just for fun. I stick mostly to the original script but make a few dialect changes to better fit the accent I'm doing.

You've perfected the catarrh and the 'O' sounds. I feel there were moments where you were subconsciously delving into a Welsh accent though tbh. 0:31 - 0:35 for example. You nailed it after the jobsworth bit! Keep up the great videos Jake 👍
Please do an accent rap battle. I think that would be hilarious. Like Welshman Vs roadman. Or Scotsman Vs cockney. Something like that.

Brilliant! I'm a lapsed Scouser and sadly can no longer do it this well although trying to remember it's 1/3 Dublin Irish, 1/3 laziness and 1/3 catarrh does help. One criticism: a bit more generalised aggression would have truly nailed it bur bravo nonetheless.

Rubbish. I loved your appearance in Twin Peaks but you can’t add ‘Liverpool accent’ to your CV. You go via Wales and India, the inflections are all wrong, and no amount of throaty ‘chhh’ notes at the start of a sentence would convince anyone from the northwest otherwise.
