I always, always look forward to that “Hindi Mapaliwanag” part, the PRECISION on those whistle notes, riffs and runs is absolutely INSANE 👏👏👏

She is the real deal. “Halo” playing the guitar about 2 months ago. Or “If I were a boy” playing the piano. Raw and no mic but amazing. Her guitar and piano playing r getting much better. She does love music and all genres. She can sing AND dance too!!

If you’re a singer in the Philippines, professionally or otherwise, you are always asked to give “samples” of your singing talent by people. If you are the singer in the family, you are usually expected to sing or provide intermission numbers in every birthday party, reunion or just any occasion where there is a gathering of family (like christmas).

At 9:12 when she was singing Chandelier and playing the piano, you can hear her dad say, “ It sounds like she’s singing with a mic ha ha.” because her voice is just naturally loud and crystal clear even without a mic.

She doesn't need a microphone, she is always ready, she is humble, she is talented, she can do impromptu and she can really slay! Morissette is being love by lots of people around the world, keep Morissette contents and we are here to support you. Also, I am liking your content so keep on uploading cause you guys are talented!

She was super young in a lot of these clips but you can see that she already has the talent even at such a young age. She was born with it and she just fine tuned it as she grew up. ❤️

14:26 Filipino singers of her generation and the newcomers have to constantly prove they’re worth listening to, worth paying for tickets to their concerts. They have to continuously please the local audience. The bar has been set so high by Lea Salonga & Regine V. You have to prove your worth. Otherwise, local will just go to karaoke bars or bars with live bands. That’s my take on it.

So, to proved to the Filipino audiences that you’re a cut above the rest or to sell your album, when being asked by the media to give an impromptu performances, you have to do it and impressed them. And also, many singers honed their talent through singing the 90’s power ballads from Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Bryan Adams, Michael Bolton and many more, that’s why Philippines is also “the land of belters”, and we still listened and sing on the karaoke those 90’s power ballads.
