A bit of a trivia: they're a family of singers and before she made it big she used to work as the singer that mimics Whitney Houston songs for 'minus one' tapes where they use for Karaoke. Minus one cassette tapes are tapes that put in a karaoke machine and you can either isolate the vocals and the music so you can learn the song faster: hear the song with the vocals first then try to sing it with just the instruments (hence why it's called 'minus one'). She did an excellent job mimicking all the classic Whitney songs.

Sadly, she's suffering bacterial meningitis now. It makes one of her ears deaf which makes it hard for her to perform live performances like this one. I am hoping for her fast recovery. She's the Asia's Nightingale. She's an icon of our country when it comes ro music. Her voice is really Whitney to be honest. Her power and her tone. You will be healed Ms. Lani. We love you. 😘

That's the highlight of the song in which everyone who knows it is waiting for that part, bukas "na LaaaaaaaAAAANG kita" hahaha

she is singing about falling in love with someone when she is already in a happy relationship with someone else. She regrets not having met him earlier when she was/and he was free to love . Bukas means tomorrow and also an indefinite period of time. Sana means loosely "regretfully in the future". It's a bittersweet song that touches the filipino heart. Aside from her voice and technique she evokes empathy with the listener.
