at 6 months they should start solids, be it cereal, mashed fruit and veggies......I think that would also help them sleep better

You are doing such an amazing job. We just sleep trained our 6 month old twins over the course of 2 weeks. IT. WAS. HARD. But so worth it! They are now falling asleep within 5 minutes for naps and sleeping 12 hours at night. You can do it, mama!

I am so happy for you! Itt's heartbreaking to let them cry, isn't it? But we are doing it as gentle as we can and it seems to be working , they are napping and sleeping at night so far.

Hang in there, Jen. I feel for you when you look so tired after such a tiring day. At six months, I was putting a little rice cereal in my babies milk before bedtime, and they usually would sleep most of the night. They seemed to sleep better when they were full and satisfied. I hope you can get some relief with your twins so you can get other JENIA things done. You are a great mother.

honestly, if u were my daughter I would buy 2 swings that go back and forth, they go pretty fast and they knock the babies out for sleep. It would help you and the twins to get better naps during the daytime for now. I would save the sleep training for night time and maybe even put their cribs in 2 diff rooms. You and your husband could each take a twin and time them.

I do the swing thing with my 8 month old twins for their 2 day time naps! I only have 1 swing though and while I'm homeschooling my other kids I'll put one baby in the swing with his pacifier and lovey then once he falls asleep I stick him up in the crib then come back down and do the same with the other baby. Its works so well to put them down for naps. Mine do well at night drinking their bottle then falling right asleep and then they sleep well in their crib.

Hi jen, just watched your latest upload, the juggle is so real, i think that feeding the babies 20 to 30 minutes apart would work better and even putting them to sleep half an hour apart might help, i remember with my trio i couldn't sleep train, it just didn't work for us. Are they taking milked down baby rice/cereals/cerelac or baby porridge as maybe giving them a little bowl before bedtime so they'll be satisfied and sleep for a few hours, as regards your little boy feeling unwell sliced or toddler safe chunks of green apples can help with travel as sickness. Isn't it still so difficult with 2 parents there talk less of trying to get it all done on your own some days. Hope my tips help. Take care and rest when you can

A suggestion only, which helped me. "Carry" baby on hip, having him facing away from you. That seemed to work gas wise and it was calming her down. No clue why, but it did. Don't know if it can help you, but no harm in trying. Remember, I'm 75 years old, I've got a few tips. I've never heard or seen all you have for infants today. Trust me, you are blessed.

You are doing absolutely amazing! My twins are 8 months old and I have a 4yr old and 6yr old I homeschool. It was so so so hard in the beginning (in the first few months I'd often be in tears at the end of the day, it was so hard). My husband works 3rd shift some nights so I was on my own a lot. Its hard. Its only by the Lord I survied and figured out what worked for us! Now that the babies are 8 months old thing are getting easier, I feel like I'm finally seeing how fun twins are. So much advice is thrown at us twin Mommas but I found to just pray and to just do what was right for us. Once you all fall into your own routine that works for your family, days and nights will just flow. I've heard things dont necessarily get easier, you just get really good at doing hard things!

Give the baby’s more food like solids and not only milk plus some snacks . Mashed bananas in a Highchair and other age appropriate foods to keep them busy and content while you do kitchen jobs . At 6 month babies go though a lot of changes and sleep training is going to be hard at this stage . I always sleep with my children until falling asleep and then leave the room . Less stress and not so much crying .

With my reflux baby, I had to prop and weigh down the food. Also I had to do goats milk. But weighing down the food helped SO much. Also, a hot water bottle wrapped on the tummy helped a lot. Peppermint water (some people really got on me about that, but it helped soothe the stomach, just a few MLs. About 5-10, or 1-2 tsp) I also found that a little bouncy chair or a swing, even the car seat would help with propping for the 30 minutes after they ate. I really hope.you see this and that it helps you! Good luck, sweetie! ❤

I'm exhausted just watching you. I remember how frustrating it is when you can't calm down your baby. My daughter I switched to soy bean formula and she almost instantly stopped crying and slept through the night. Ask your new (?) doctor. She had bad reflux, actually still does at age 51. She is allergic to dairy products and also penicillin. I hope you're able to get some rest. Then, poor Max, I hope he gets better soon. I do pray for you and your family. Wish I could help you out.😢

My twins are only 7 weeks and I’ve already looked into sleep training them. I’m also exhausted. Sometimes mine will eat at the same time and other times they are 30-60 mins apart making feeds feel around the clock. 😴 idk how you are fitting in pumping along side nursing one baby. I was able to nurse one but I couldn’t keep up with her nursing and then once our baby b came out of the NICU her feedings are a little more intense with needing to burp more often and lots more spit up 😅 I haven’t been writing down when they eat but maybe I should. I’ll have to look into Ferber method idk how old the babies need to be before doing that but I’d like to have good habits now so I don’t have to break a bunch of bad habits. Either way it’s extremely hard to feed them both at the same time even when they take a bottle. It’s a constant juggling act to see who needs to burp and when lol

You should get out with all family, it is good for the babies as well. Maybe they can make their naps in their strollers. I know it is hard to get out with all kids but sometimes the energy of the house gets too stressfull even the babies can feel this. Fresh air is good for everyone. Hope you can get some rest, it is hard to be in your shoes. Lots of crying, planning and rushing to everything. This is some kind of madness and motherhood means madness.
