Today I scrap 11 hedge trimmers with copper motors and turn them into 2 beautiful ingots for my collection.
Notice how much weight from the copper disappears after melting. You don't think about the fact that the copper is lacquered or painted and that it also weighs a little and that this evaporates and disappears during melting.
