The Mormons who are also called Latter Day Saints or LDS is a very controversial Christian sect.
Mainstream Christians actually classify the Mormon movement as a cult.
It was founded by a man called Joseph Smith.
According to Joseph Smith, he had an encounter with an angel called Moroni who inspired him to write the Book of Mormon and start the movement.
He came with so many controversial ideas, like black people not being accepted into the priesthood of Mormonism.
Mormon men were allowed to marry many wives.
They don’t drink coffee or Coke.
They have temples across the world where they carry out what is known as Baptism for the Dead.
On The Twilight Zone, Yemi and Sylvia will be taking a closer look at the Mormon organisation, their founder, their practices and beliefs in order to figure out who they are and what they believe, in order to ascertain as to whether they could be classified as a Christian movement.

The odd doctrine you speak of was started by Brigham Young, the person who took over a couple years after Joseph was murdered. Look for the truth yourself, don't take the Brighamites' word. Joseph gave blacks the priesthood, Joseph took it away. Joseph and Emma both spoke against polygamy and there's no descendants other than through Emma. You forget Deuteronomy, and Joseph didn't add any books to the Bible. Do you not believe Jesus had other sheep and that they could write about it? Please look into facts before you speak about others, bearing false testimony just like Brigham Young.
