Just gonna start off by saying thank you all for your pateince waiting for part 2! been a grind but its finally ready!
Thank you to Brock Hewitt: Stories in Sound for doing my music once again, the courage theme will forever be the best version and also thank you to Reade Snair for the Violin performance you're a legend.
It hit me so hard making this that shades story was tossed away it ended with his quote and a fade away..... booooo, In my remake i saught after finishing shades story to my best ability hopefully I did ok! Shade is literally Oot and TP devs didn't give care about that fact at all, Nintendo does'nt care about their lore hahaahaha.
I didn't add Midnas farewell in this due to time, I am planning on making a seperate short video on that but its kinda boring cause with the assests I have and the scene I can't really make it better than the original but I gave it a shot.
Also Midnas return in the real ending was so BS (her helmate was broken then suddenly had it before she became the princess) but in the end I also made her return boring ahhahahahah ;)
My animation will be fully exsposed in this one hahaah that fight scene was a blast to make but had so many challanges and this time I laid it all on the line with that fight scene. I'm still improving please stick with me till the end!
My next project will be a short, and then during the summer I have a plan for the biggest animation for the greatest unfinished story in Zelda!

I probably would’ve NEVER gotten into Legend of Zelda if I haven’t seen your animations. I don’t know how I got here, but you literally made me shed tears for characters who previously meant nothing to me. Right down from the facial expressions, the timing of the music with the actions, and all of the poured out emotions were all wonderfully executed together. This really raises the level of show and tell. You have a splendid gift for animating and story telling.

I know right?! That was absolutely amazing! To be honest, the transitions between Ganondorf vs. Link and TP,Link vs. OoT,Link almost made it look like the fight against OoT,Link was possibly some kind of illusion and, while TP,Link was fighting OoT,Link in this mind, in reality, he was actually fighting Ganondorf that whole time, which would explain why the fight choreography was nearly completely identical, with slight, but still obvious differences.

The hero of Time.. Seeing this reminded me of what he had to go through. From leaving his childhood to be a hero to being the forgotten hero who was forced to grow up 7 years too fast. How he had to die with regret for not being able to rescue hyrule like he wanted to. He did so much & helped the hero of twilight be successful to kill that same Ganon. Seeing that scene in this animation was so beautiful yet heartbreaking. This is what I wanted twilight princess to be. It was in tears when he said “Do not falter my child.” That broke me cause he went through so much & for him to watch the hero of twilight all along on his journey that he should of gotten recognition for also. That’s why I love the hero of Time the most. 😢 This was truly beautiful.

Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this! What a great reference to OOT and the Hero of Time. Kinda gives you a sense that he speaks as if he was still in his own time period. In other words, by doing this, we could guess that the Hero's Shade speaks in a style that sounds old fashioned to TP link. Kinda like how the Great Deku Tree spoke in old english to OOT link when he was a child.

Here's a little story about the Hero of Time. After returning to the lost woods from Termina link set out to explore the world thinking it'd be best to stay away from Hyrule until Ganon was delt with. Several years after leaving Kingdom. something in him told him to return home. When he did he was horrified to see the state of the kingdom. There was carnage all around, Hyrule Castle had been demolished the Temple of Time, barely standing war has broke lose. Link new he had to join Zelda's military. After many battle's in the Gerudo/Hylian war he became a respected knight. He thought he could defeat Ganon just like he did in the adult timeline, but unfortunately despite all his victory's in the end he fell in battle. (The one who had slain him must've been either Ganon himself, twinrova or Nabooru) Ganon seized the temple of time leaving it ruins. But thanks to Link's inspiration the Hylian soldiers apprehended the Gerudo King forcing the Gerudo to leave Hyrule. Ganon was sentence to be executed In his homeland using an enchanted sword by the seven sage's. But thanks to the triforce of power he survived. Ganon broke free from his chains and murdered his executioner, just to end up banished to the realm of twilight, Returning to Hyrule hundreds of years later. After learning about this, I was sad for a while but was then satisfied when the Hero of Twilight finally avenged the Hero of Time.

More like Link brought Ganondorf to the justice he was gettin' ready fer the boy ta give him (with his schemes in Twilight Princess bein' the preparations he made fer that day when he'd face the hero). That Link brought closure to his daddy by learnin' all 7 Hidden Skills, and helpin' him with his regrets. 'Sides, it was 100 years after Ocarina of Time ended. He eventually succeeded his dad by becomin' the next hero. With that weight lifted from his shoulders, Link the Hero of Time (who died as an elderly man) was now satisfied with lettin' Link the Hero of Twilight be it's next guardian. In the animation called Twilight's Shadow, Ocarina of Time Link called Twilight Princess Link his son. In the dub made fer Twilight Princess by Zelda Universe, he called that kid his son when he said, "To my son."

WyattTheMemePlug I don’t think any antagonist could have killed Oot Link, especially after his return from the Adult Timeline and Termina. Ganon did not have the triforce of power, and only got it right before he was sealed in the Twilight Realm. Link still had the triforce of courage, and has already fought nabooru and twinrova in the adult timeline, while they have not fought him in the child timeline. He would have been much better prepared to take them down. Not to mention he also had the Fierce Deity mask. He was definitely killed by something, I just don’t think it was any of those three.

Never have I ever been so touched by a fan made video. The animation was amazing, the music was exceptional, the story had so much emotion put into it that I was in tears during the parts where The Hero of Time and The Hero of Twilight talked and “fought”. I have to admit that this alternate ending for Twilight Princess is better than the actual ending of the game. The ending was so satisfying when it showed The Hero of Time and The Hero of Twilight slashing and stabbing at Ganon’s head, just like what happened in Ocarina of Time. I feel that this ending is much better because we did not see much of The Hero’s Shade (Oot Link) nor did we get to know much of his back story( in the actual game). I also liked that Link had to find his courage instead of just having it like in almost all of the games, that added so much expression and inner conflict which makes it even better. In the end Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time are my two favourite games, and to see the two Links together touched my heart. They are supposed to be family, and in the actual game barely anything was said about that. I appreciate this animation that you made very much, it brings happiness to me and brings back so many great memories of me playing. I don’t know how to express how much this has touched me( I was literally in tears). I am supporting you fully now and keep up the good work. :-) Thank You so much(Sorry for long paragraph). ;-)

One thing I love about this is how it emphasizes the fact that TP Link ISN’T a reincarnation like literally every other Link. The others are basically like “Yup, this seems about right, time to hero” and have the instinctual memories to back themselves up, but TP is running in blind. This one is actually nervous and afraid because he’s up against a literal Dark Lord of Evil and doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing, and has to learn to be a hero like his forefathers.

I can say, without a doubt, that the fight scenes depicted in this animation were much better than those of Masked Courage (I'm not late to the party this time!), and the emotion in the fight between OoT Link and TP Link was... enlightening to see. The music seemed to really fit the animation, so kudos for that. If you haven't already started on a project, might I suggest making your own story about the Hero's Shade? Over all, I can only applaud this. Humanity in the animation is what matters the most, and to be honest, I could see the humanity in this animation. Have a good day!

This is a testimony to find strengths from within ourselves to overcome even the greatest of obstacles. To make the time to set up recordings and proof of your victories is never required. It is your story that you will carry to the grave. Remember there are Heroes then there are legends. Heroes can be remembered, but legends can never die. Only your heart can and it can never go wrong. Cheer up guy. May there be peace, prosperity, comfort, good will and the triforce be bestowed upon you. True victories are fought with dilegents, spirit, and courage with the agenda of peace and happiness. That is the beauty of freewill my friend. Bound to know dishonor or falsehood. He stood tall with courage for his Kingdom that he didn't even know and endured loss, Limited Memories, And war wounds beyond measure. He is the Hero Of TIME. Meaning he'll always be in the history of Hyrule. Always will play a role as a shade or example to aid all future Links, even if he isn't mentioned like in TP. He's always going to be NO.1 Link

Oh man, I'm glad I discovered your channel. There's too much going on, the music, the Links fighting, that Zelda glare at Ganondorf, the Midna intervention... no joke, I felt shivers down my spine. Good job!

It gave me chills. This re-imagening is magnificent. The relation between hero of time and his successor is pure gold. Their fight was... ufff... there were so many emotions there. Amazing job.

(I accidentally deleted my comment, but I wanted to write it again anyway) You've really outdone yourself this time MajorLink. You've improved so much, even just by comparing part one you published. I could tell you put your heart into this, and it shows extensively. The fight scene was so well done; not only were the movements flawless just between Ganon and Link, but also with both Links transitioning between each other. I love the story that you written, and the changes flowed smoothly. I could go on a while about the many details you put in, but I don't want to take away your time to read any other comments. Incredible job, Major. Be sure to pass on the word to anyone who helped with the project. Plus, I think you've earned yourself a long vacation. We'll be waiting for you when you come back. 🙂

I love Twilight Princess, its my favourite Zelda game and your attention to detail is simply amazing, from the inclusions of the Hidden skills found throughout the game being used in the fight scens to the way you incoperate lore that wasnt explicitly pointed out in the game is amazing. From Link fighting the Hero of Time to the final strikes both heroes used to finish off Ganondorf. This is an amazing re-imagining and I always come back to watch your animations

This video meant a lot to me, for years I wanted to do a link cosplay, but the years passed and I'm not that young anymore, so I remembered that the hero´s shade is also link, and I did it, I felt, that I had achieved what i wanted.
