It depends on the printer in question. In real-world experience 200ppi looks great to me printed on a good printer. Also the Photoshop (after v.2020) can double the resolution for you and still maintain quality surprisingly well. So be sure to use that to save render time. Test for yourself. And when you calculate the resolution be sure to remember that you can't print edge to edge, so figure out the size of the image itself on that page and calculate for that size. Not the full A3. A3 is similar to the American's 11x17, I print at 2800px wide image for that paper size. So if you render at 2800px wide, double the resolution in photoshop, you should have a very nice image on A3, but reasonable render times.

How did you manage to render it THAT fast? My gaming pc takes about 4minutes for low 500x500 resolution

I am using twilight Hobby versions, can't afford the full. In my menu for the water, when I pick the color, there is not an alpha selector right below Color. It's just the Bump field. Is this because I have Hobby version? I noticed, in the version I have, that the Water isn't under The Glass tab anymore either. It's under a new tab called Liquid. So, since that was moved, maybe Alpha was moved as well? Please let me know. Thanks

Twilight Render got a big boost release after this video was created. In the NEW version of Twilight Render all of SketchUp's native materials will automatically render for you, no need to apply templates. So, pool water and other things should look great effortlessly. Be sure to get the latest version of Twilight Render from our website. Be sure this feature is enabled in the Twilight Render Options if it's not working on your computer.

Sorry for your frustration. "Components" is a basic part of SketchUp. It is found under the pull-down menu at the top of SketchUp called "Window">"Default Tray">Components. It is not the intention of this video to teach how to use SketchUp, as many of the people learning Twilight Render already know how to use SketchUp. There are thousands of wonderful video tutorials for learning SketchUp. We like Sketchucation.com and SketchUp Essentials youtube channel for learning SketchUp.

Please pause the video as needed as you work along with the video. It is important that tutorial videos not be too long and boring for users. Also, the playback speed of the video can be chosen by you, so slowing down the video is an option you already have.
