That's fantastic, cheers Cynthia :-)
People seem to forget to use sienna's, grey's, and umber's in favor of power colors. It is good to see people like you showing what it takes to get color's you see in nature.

G'day Richard, an encore paint to your last one. Love it mate, anything with the Moon in it is special, especially with the light it throws. My learning today, placing the main focus, the Moon in first and building from there. I like the lack of 'form' in the landscape as is often the case when lit by the Moon. The water picks up the light nicely and the light in the central landscape bridges the Moon and it's reflection, linking and balancing to the eye. A lot of restraint today and yet, no loss of impact and drama. Awesome mate, thanks for an enjoyable 50 minutes on an overcast morning. Cheers, Rich

Thanks for showing and telling your thoughts on how to create a studio painting from a plein air study. I usually find this a tricky thing to accomplish successfully! Over-working is so easy and deadly to the spontaneous feel of plein air.

Hello Richard, how important It is to take a good photograph to later paint, or work with a sketch in real time with the colors that you later want to do in a Big way in the studio. Good job before and after. Congratulations!!!!!

Hi Richard, can you tell me what camera you are using?
