I think it’s a neat that they have this because it allows you to see all of the community and also go from place to place meeting people within the community and visiting their businesses

Which was your favorite book/movie?

100% jelly belly. That is one place I want to visit once I get my van built. Lol I was obsessed with the movies and the books when they all came out. I love watching your videos. It’s always a fun history class with you. On my map I have a lot of places I’m going to go see thanks to you. Thank you for everything you do and taking us all on fun adventures

I’m so happy that you came along! This was a fun way to see the community we were visiting. The visitor center has so many people visiting each day and coming out to see this cute little town. But they have fully embraced sharing their community with us all

It was super need definitely something that if you’re ever in the Forks area you should check out

Oh my goodness how fun!! My daughter & I just sat & watched all the movies together. Of course I've read the books & watched all the movies but she was too little when they came out to appreciate them. Now she's 14 & loved them!! We've got to check this out!! Thank you for sharing this!

Best friend and I are a huge Twilight fans and I did not realize that forks was a real town so now we have a vacation destination to visit thank you for the lovely video on one of my favorite places LOL well now it's going to be one of my favorite places

Though many of the scenes were spread across Washington and Oregon this community was the inspo and has fully embraced the fun of Forks spirit from the movies. You will love this!!!

I can't wait to visit! I have my trip planned for next year. The city of Forks has embraced the fandom and because of the tourism, the city was actually "saved" during the recession because so many people flocked to Forks. The Forever Twilight Festival is amazing! Nothing was filmed in Forks, but Stephanie's inspiration for the books was the actual town of Forks. The films were filmed in Oregon (Portland and St Helens area) and Vancouver Canada due to the tax breaks

Never watched these movies when I found out that vampires shimmer in the sun. I’m an old school Bela Lagosi, Christopher Lee girl.

Never watched Twilight, but great video as always.

Thank you so much! I always enjoy finding communities that embrace parts of the past and also some of the interesting unique things that have happened there. This community was the inspiration for the movie and so while many of the scenes do look a bit different They were the original moments that inspired the author and I think that’s really cool

This is so cool. I wish my daughter was alive so we could share this. She loved Twilight. She passed last Oct 9th of delta COVID at 36 yrs. So much she's going miss out on. Ugh. Thank you, Bunny! This is very cool! 💕

This was actually the inspiration colored house. And also the interior inspired the colored house as well.

I'm from Forks. I've lived here many years. Absolutely nothing was filmed in or around Forks lol. This is hysterical. It was never afforded a tax break & but Washington was too expensive. They had set up in Oregon and Canada when the Governor approached them, apologized for rebuffing Catherine Hardwick and said they would give them a tax break...well, the film crew and directors told them it was too late they were already settled and filming. All of us locals simply played along and called different establishments different places from the movie. That is why the 1st brach in LA Push is nothing like the scene in the movie..this is why the school looks nothing like in the movie. So many people Come thinking that some of the movies were filmed here but nope...never any of it lol.
