I feel like not enough people appreciate Twice's singing

i wish JYP wouldn’t ruin their vocals by making all the tracks in a higher pitch. they sound so stable in their own ranges

I've observed when twice sings acapella, they often lower the key and whenever they perform they often have to perform their songs in their original key, the key is often higher. I feel like all of twice are good singers, but the key they often sing might be more difficult for the entire group. Even though they can all sing in higher keys, they seem to thrive in lower keys.

I mean, literally every person has it easier in lower keys. I go to a choir in a music school, and I sing as soprano and of course (I'm no expert tho) and of course I have it easier on lower keys. But there are reasons why the songs are in higher keys. I do think they should reserve the higher notes to Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon. I also think that Chaeyoung, Mina and Sana can hit them most of the time (they are also great singers). I do feel like Tsuyu, Momo and Dahyun would be more comfortable singing in a lower key tho.

As someone experience in singing, you can see that twice song mostly high. If you always sing in high key, somehow it might ruin your voice. Twice is actually pretty good singing in high key,but jyp might as well aware about this as its not healthy for their throats

maybe, but somehow I think because of their dancing too. It's hard to sing a high note when dancing. I tried to do that before but then I found out I sound like a fish need its water

Twice are great singers. Even though they might not feel confident in singing love they still sing good!

@@pinkpasta7872 actually the 3 members in their vocal line are about average to above average, and 3 other members are close to becoming average singers. More than half of them are pretty good or close to being good and are improving. Most the members just lack confidence because people like you bash their vocals instead of giving constructive criticism or not commenting on their voices at all.

@@pinkpasta7872 Actually no. 3mix(Nayeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon)are all above average to excellent vocalists and make one of the strongest vocal lines in the 3rd generation. Chaeyoung is above average, Mina and Tzuyu are slightly above average. So don’t say they aren’t great singers.

Chaeyoung actually has a wide range....especially her lower range. In songs like Love Foolish and their Born this Way performance she sings super low. She also hit an E5 I think in Touchdown. Her range appears small but it’s actually not.

@@chaeyoungslovie Yeah, actually this comment is 6 months ago, I've been developed on Chaeyoung's range, she can sing high and low, her lower register (along with Jihyo's) is my favourite in Twice. Her notes in Touchdown are high too. Btw I just rewatch born this way stage and my new obsession is NaJeongMiChae chorus

I love momo's voice when it's natural, MOMO just need a song that fits her voice.

It's like when someone tells me twice can't sing, this is the vid that they need to watch. So that they can't say it's edited or autotune or whatsoever. Coz mostly twice sings with out music back stage.

For those Kpop Stans who don't fully stan Twice... Do you know why Onces defend Twice singing ability and still stan them? Because of the CONCERT STAGES... Only there that TWICE will show their full capacity because there are ONCES ONLY... We Onces doesn't only depend on their music show performance or award performance, but we fully depend on the concert stages... So if you don't watch the concert stages of Twice, don't waste your time to judge Twice vocals, because it will just show how incompetence and oblivious you are as a person

I adore momo, dahyun, Sana, tzuyu, jeongyeon and chae voice so much and nayeon's and jihyo's amazing vocals

why does everyone criticize momo's singing? yes its nothing extraordinary but theres no doubt her voice isnt terrible. Shes not even my bias but everyone degrading her talent makes me upset🥺 Also Chaeyoung needs more singing lines in future comebacks. Im glad she got a lot of lines in more & more because she sang and rap. Lastly, JYP, give jeongyeon, one of your most stable singer in twice, more goddamn lines!!!

I think the reason why TWICE likes ti sing live in Vlives and cocerts is because they feel more comfortable performing to real fans, cuz haters dont deserve to hear their golden voice

Twice is the best🍒❤

But it's sad that we have only few videos where we can hear them actually singing live :( jype should focus more on their vocals instead of overworking them with too many comebacks

y'know TWICE are obviously capable and has so much potential, not just the vocal line... all of them, but they aren't confident - the only time they have confidence is during japanese promotions and concerts

They might not have the best vocals in KPOP but what I admire about them is that they know how to use their voice....Im a singer too and TWICES vocals are is one of the unique voices Ive heard in KPOP...Im a 5 year old once and their vocals are the reason why I stan them...back then, I remember hearing their voices in Ooh ahh era and I immediately said that they have so many rooms for improvements..Their voices are so colorful and angelic.....I know yall disagree with me but I really loved the voice of MOMO, I know shes not very stable but her tone and style makes me feel relax...shes a bit nasal but its not too much like other singers....I dont know, her voice is just unique. This is just my opinion.

Love the live version of What Is Love. Momo, Tzuyu, Naeyon and Jeongyeon killed it. Chaeyoung's voice is really pretty and Melting is one of there best live performances.

Higher ranges can be handled by mina or sana. Jy is more of mid range belter, so hopefully as twice matures she'll get more lines.

I think jyp doesnt give lines that much compared to nayeon even tho theyre both lead vocalists is bcuz she has the nearest vocal tone from jihyo? Or smth & in jyp they tend to give each members different singing tones thats why momo also has to change her voice from sixteen to now now & that has resulted for jeongyeon to has lesser lines than nayeon cuz maybe nayeon in jyps pov has given him a unique vibe to it

Sana sounds like an angel 😭 so proud for her huge improvement since sixteen.

There's no doubt they're really a best group blessed with many followers who love them for who they are and what they are. You saw their journey to reach their goals. I know nothing lasts forever. Let's cherish them while they're still here who gives us joy,happiness and hope.
