FEEL SPECIAL will always be powerful for me. You probably know now from followers but just in case, it's a message from them to them. JYP wrote this song after interviewing each member about their hardships and how they leaned on each other. It was a tumultuous time: Jihyo was facing hate for dating Kang Daniel, Sana was getting hate for a post in regards to the outgoing Japanese leader, Mina was having anxiety and was away from the group for an extended period of time, and Tzuyu got hate for a flag incident, i think. The video is them being paired up w/ the members that helped them the most: Sana/ Dahyun, Tzuyu/ Momo, Jihyo/ Nayeon, and of course MICHAENG. Jeongyeon is the overall mother of TWICE, so she helps everyone! :) It's a powerful and beautiful song. Thank you for reacting to it again! :)

Kelly and Nelly! Yes, that’s the sample!! I was trying to to recall all this time. I have heard a version of it used in either 1 or 2 kpop b-sides since Fancy. I think I playlisted it/them, but not in a convenient manner, so I’ll just have to listen all the way through a couple recently made or edited lists. lol oy vey….. What a unique jam YoY is. But Dance the Night Away? FOREVER BOP!!!! When I went to see my niece graduate college, after we had dinner, I put DTNA on while waiting for the car to heat up (she graduated in December). I did the choreo while seated, and my niece sat next to me, staring, “You are moving the car! Like, a lot.” And I just said something like, “Well-I’m not surprised.”
