Sad that Jeongyeon is the lead vocalist and she slowly got less and less lines, whilst the sub vocals got more than enough. She is such a strong vocalist and JYP don't give her the deserved position unless Nayeon or Jihyo are whaling in the background of her last chorus lines.

Nayeon and Jihyo be like: 🔀🔀🔀 Apart from them 2 having a large lead ahead of everyone else, I see the overall distribution as pretty fair. There were some songs where a member only got about 3 seconds of vocals, which I didn’t like, but overall it's not bad. I do understand what people mean about Jeongyeon though, not getting the lines her role should be.

Jeongyeon's hiatus ended a year ago, she's been fully promoting since TTT, and she still is underutalized, despite having had several comebacks since TTT. stop blaming it on her hiatus when she's not on hiatus anymore. not to mention that even BEFORE her hiatus, she was treated worse than some of the sub vocalists. 2. Jeongyeon asked for less lines? babe, Cry For me is their biggest song from her hiatus era, and she's in the top 3. also, do you think they have control over this? i can guarantee you that if Twice had any saying in their distributions 3. SHE'S HAPPY WITH LESS???? that girls loves performing. she was born to be on stage. do you think she just doesn't want it. bfr. 4. Main vocal isn't meant to get the most lines, main vocal has the widest vocal range and are the best trained so they are meant to get the most complicated and difficult notes/sections of the song and you'll notice those lines are always shared between Nayeon, Jihyo and Jeongyeon who best fit all 3 criteria. According to the producers of Twice songs Nayeons voice encapsulates the twice sound they want so she normally opens the songs but you'll notice she does this less as their concept has changed. Theres always been a theory that since Twice was JYP's version of GG they were also meant to have two main vocals (Nayeon and Jihyo), but since Nayeon was also centre they didn't want to be unbalanced. Personally I belive this and think they planned for Jihyo and Jeongyeon to be used interchangeably (since their voices are the deepest in the group) and they wanted to do the same with Nayeon and the other members but none of them could hit the high notes they wanted (plus famously all the main vocal material trainees from sixteen got dropped during the show) so they got dumped onto Nayeon and Jihyo was more unpopular on debut than they thought she'd be (Jeongyeon finished second plus she had a famous sister) so they really pushed her role as main vocal.

Exactly. Jeongyeon deserves so much better. I know she's finally getting treated as the lead vocalist that she is in the recent albums, but she's still not given the same amount of importance as the other lead vocalist Nayeon, and there is a clear discrepancy. We know Nayeon is the center of the group, but that doesnt mean Jeongyeon the second best vocalist of the group should be often casted to the sidelines and get mixed up with sub vocalist lines. It just doesnt sit right with me and a lot of people share the same sentiment.

Nayeon's voice is a blessing to Twice. Her own solo album is the only successful, note-worthy out of the three solo debuts they had, and it's in a large measure how Nayeon did great compared to the others. Twice is a group whose line distributions were already very bad but got even worse with time.

I dislike Nayeon her voice is mid and she steals all of jihyo and jeongyeons lines

nayeon have a more wide vocal range than Jeongyeon. And her voice color is more brighter than Jihyo. That's why she have most lines.

Y'all need to stop coming at Nayeon it's like y'all forgot that adlibs/background vocals exist that's why Nayeon's line distribution is so high. And might I add that they don't sing adlibs/background vocals live
