i’m not sure if my theory’s correct but in this song tyler is trying to say to popularity changes people. Don’t believe the hype. Don’t believe the trends. You’ll notice a difference in Tylers demeanor because in theBlurryface album Twenty one pilots got very popular and now in Trench he’s saying to not popularity change you. How clever. Also I love this song.

How do you separate the vocals so well? Is there a specific program? I tried with Izotope RX but the results are not great.

I'm disappointed that they didn't have more trumpets in Trench and focused more on artificial sounds. Don't get me wrong, these songs are still really good, but Blurryface had something more to it in my opinion.
