Look how far I went for fear of losing you. They were the best pair ever. And I will always defend Capaldi to be the very best Doctor Who actor, by far. Not to take away from the others but his performance just spoke to me soo much. The tragic relationship from uncomfortable hugging to a non-physical incredibly deep compassion that feels like it even succeeds love. And she (her writing did more for the doctors character development than any time before or since..) the chemistry between these actors.. what they were able to portray was one of the most beautiful things I ever witnessed in this media... I once imagined how the dynamic could've been if she was his sister cause I have a strong unspoken bond with mine. It would ofc leave out the romantic part but not the love you feel for a family member.. and I would give my life for her a thousand times if it meant she would live. If it came to an organ transplanet I could give her but would die because of it I would do it in a heartbeat.. I think I could only feel a similar compassion to a own child but alas I will never have a child.. I can't bear to bring life into this world. Just a little well meant tip the music is too loud. The enjoyment in these videos it to be able to have the music in the background creating the underlying emotion heavily complimenting the the emotions expressed in the dialogue.. or any time of dialogue really.

People mistake Clara and Doctor's relationship to be romantic but it wasn't, it was a complicated mess of friendship without any true feelings of romance. 11th was fascinated by the impossible girl and after he met 21 Century Clara, slowly started thinking that he was her boyfriend; a mistake that the 12th Doctor admits. After that, it was 12th and Clara being close friends where they cared about each other deeply but didn't have any romantic connection. I hated "ClaraWho" but watching it again, it's not as bad as before and I don't find Clara overrated, I think a lot of her importance stemmed from the fact that Missy orchestrated this entire relationship

A deep friendship makes sense, but you can definitely interpret it as romantic. With scenes like ‘when do i not see you,’ the mummy on the orient express, and him threatening to wipe out his whole species and fracture time just to see her again, i feel like if he looked younger no one would even question it. Not saying you’re wrong, they’re complex and you can see their relationship multiple ways but I don’t think you can write off romance completely.

He tells her HE'S the one who thought he was her boyfriend ('I never said it was your mistake'). She tells him his accent is sexy, there's SO much sexual tension throughout, the jealousy from the Doctor towards Danny, Clara feeling the need to lie to Danny about seeing the Doctor even though he never told her to stop, the line about liking the people you're supposed to like but then there'd be no fairy tales, Clara's sideways love confession, her saying she would have married him in Last Christmas, all of series 9, the discretionary pan away from them in the cloisters- what could she possibly have said? It's them finally being honest that they're in love, there's nothing the audience can't be privy to except him saying those words. She's says they've 'already had enough bad timing' when he wants to tell her in Face the Raven. There's no such thing as bad timing in a friendship, bad timing is for lovers. I'm not going to write the whole essay citing chapter and verse in a youtube comment, but I don't think it's debatable at all that it's romantic and the drama of their arc doesn't make sense without the romance because their denial is what causes the conflict. I guarantee you there would have been an onscreen kiss if PCap had been 35 rather than 55. Absolutely no one would mistake the fact that it's a love story. The text is super clear.

"He tells her HE'S the one who thought he was her boyfriend ('I never said it was your mistake')" Yes, the doctor lies but the doctor doesn't fail to learn from his mistakes. I think Clara's heart can be read by the viewers at face value, and it does seem she's conflicted... after all it's without a doubt clear that she had a thing for 11th Doctor. But Danny is the literal embodiment of Clara moving on. This is shown in the "The Caretaker" episode as she chooses to fancy Danny over the literal BowTie English teacher. Moreover, from 12th's perspective it's not a humany love triangle or ageism problem. His confession of mistaking himself as "the boyfriend" is clear of that admittance I think. So you're wrong about 12th's feelings. 12th wasn't jealous of Danny, he saw him as opposite of his ideologies and unworthy of Clara. That is clearly presented in the script of the show. He was literally acting as the father figure in "The Caretaker" episode. Danny is solider, someone who kills and uses guns on orders... something the 12th hates. While Danny antagonizes him further by calling him "sir" and a "general". The relationship between Danny and Doctor is pretty clearly laid out and it definitely doesn't include jealousy. As far as, Clara not telling Danny about the Doctor. That was completely Clara's fabricated problem. Danny had no issue, apart from Clara's safety and Doctor had no issue. Furthermore, that hesitant nature would also exist in a father figure relationship if your husband and "father" don't get along. Happens in real life.

No one disagrees that it started romantically, but it ended as a friendship from both sides. if our culture didn't find it "controversial" the Kiss you mention would've happened at the beginning of their arc NOT later on.
