Tweetsie Railroad: Last Train Ride of Memorial Day 2023

Descriptoin: Hop aboard Tweetsie Railroad’s own Engine 190 on her Memorial Day run this year! Nicknamed the "Yukon Queen," she was built in February 1943. Engine 190 hauled passenger and freight trains on the US Army Transportation Corps' White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad during World War 2, and helped build the Alaskan Highway before she retired. Now she is one of two trains that run at Tweetsie- the second being Engine 12, and the namesake of the park. #tweetsierailroad #trains #locomotive #mountains #blueridgemountains #fyp #sub #godblessamerica #godblessusa #usa #memorialday

Definitely is, and each train ride can be a little different than the previous one. However, the last train ride of the day is normally the best. Thanks for watching!

Love the narration before the train leaves the station! So cool how the actors walk around the train between stops. People seem to love the guy with the Horse Head.😂 Looks like so much fun!! 🚂

This was the last train ride for Memorial Day, and they normally go all out for the last train ride. I remember as a kid they would do a show in the town area before the train would depart. Thanks for watching!

Questions: can people in the other row get a good views of the show? Do they run the show on those tv monitors on the train?

Not really. When you enter the car you will want to sit on the left side, that’s next to the hill, the right side doesn’t really have good view of the 2 stops, but it is the best view for the town when leaving and arriving back to the station. Luckily the train does stop at the outpost and fort Boone so you can stand up and look out the window. There are 5 cars you can choose from, but car 2 and 3 are the best view of the show. Especially the back of 2 and front of 3. The tv monitors don’t really do anything for the regular daytime show, but around Halloween they sometimes have a video playing for the ghost train show. Not sure why it’s there lol. I remember as a kid they didn’t have it, and when I visit the park for the ghost train back in 2012 that was the first time I saw it. Thanks for watching!

Yes and no. They have shot their guns this season, just not like how they did back in the early years
