Tweakwood: Making a coffee table out of recycled pallet wood
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Checkout my new video!!! • Tweakwood: pallet wood...
In this video I show the process I go through to build a coffee table out of recycled pallet wood, using a herringbone pattern for the top.
I use various power tools such as a table saw, a sliding compound miter saw, a track saw, a dust extractor, an air powered nail gun and various sanding machines.
The table is finished with Dustin's Danish Oil.

This table arrived well packaged and on time. kzread.infoUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
MUY buena calidad, el texto imagenes. kzread.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO Un manuel muy completo y trabajado. Resulta muy práctico. Para principiantes y profesionales. Lo recomiendo
Great looking table. Bad ass workshop and power tools. Jealous. 1000 thumbs up.
That is just amazing. Thanks for inspiring me. I‘m gonna built a dining table like this!!!!
Something about using Festool tools to work on pallet wood makes me chuckle. Well done sir!
Great job. Think I'm going to give this a try this weekend.
Really Really Excellent Build. Turned out great, Well Done. Barry (ENG)

Just subscribed! Love that you reuse old pallets. A friend in Florida made 2 chaise lounges, from them. They came out so nice.
You got me inspired, man. I made a very similar table after watching your video (like a couple dozen times)! Thanks for posting!

Love how the grain pops on that pallet wood! I reckon you could jig this up in two halves and run the track saw along what would end up being the centre line. You'll get the same dead straight lines as you have around the outside without the mitre gaps. Keep up the good work!
very nice table. seen quire a lot of pallet table builds, but this is possibly my favourite. nice herring bone design

I feel the same way. Liked the video and the project, but could be improved by adding some narration with instructions.
I made an outdoor table from pallets using 2 2x4 as legs and the 1x stock ripped for a herringbone pattern. I made 2 adirondack chairs to go with it and used a heavy duty deck stain. I am going to deck stain the table but I dont see why it wouldnt last 20+ years out here in CA. I made these when my son was 2 and I hope when he is 18 or whatever one day I can tell him the story about the table and chairs he is sitting on. No ikea crap on my outdoor furniture.
Wow, Amazing. Very Nice! Cool👌👍☺
Really??? It's so nice. 👏👏👏 excellent work, amazing. I love it
you sir have an expensive taste in tools. love me some fest tools. hope one day to have a shop like yours. keep up the good work. awesome table btw.

Your video just appeared in my KZread feed this morning. That table looks like something I can make once I get the tools. I intend to start taking my pension soon and will use some of the tax free cash option to buy some quality tools. I have subscribed and will look through your other videos.
Beautiful work.

@@rutgerssander the design of your push-stick for your table saw... Is that functional? Or just cool / decorative?
@rutgerssander
3 жыл бұрын
@@jsmith629 Very functional! With this type of push stick, I can push down on the piece of wood over the full length of the lush stick, instead of only at the very end. This prevents the "climbing" of the wood onto the spinning sawblade. And results, at least for me, in more accurate cuts.
Very impressive and inspirational!
