Yeah, rather than blaming the tasters, they should blame the regulatory industries that obscure this information (it’s rather hard to find in detail!) and choose to allow companies to use misleading terms like “natural” on the products they sell to describe something is altered in a lab-its incredibly deceiving to then call it “natural”. We have to take time in our busy lives to seek this information out or we end up predated upon by these companies that don’t care about our health.

Also, flavoring "food" makes things taste good that we would never eat otherwise. They take crap "food" and flavor it to taste like the real thing (but without the nutrition). It's like crack for our tastebuds. Once you're used to these over the top flavors, real food can seem bland. Just like life after heroin. Flavors are indeed a drug. Government regulations define NATURAL FLAVORS as those that derive their aroma or flavor chemicals from plant or animal sources, including fruit, meat, fish, spices, herbs, roots, leaves, buds or bark that are distilled, fermented or otherwise manipulated in a lab. This distinguishes them from ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, which use man-made chemicals to give a product its particular flavor or aroma.

thank-you for this
Amazing Video! Funny at 8:42, My Parents and Youngest sister were watching this way back in the day and the way he said FLAVOR was super funny to them for some reason! My mother and sister were dying laughing for like 3 hours straight while they kept on rewinding that part until the rewind button almost broke😂 My dad was feeling super annoyed too when they kept on rewinding it to that part😂😂😂
This video was made and uploaded 8 years ago, and only 540 likes!??? Me thinks somebody is trying to hide this information from being seen. Because the more likes a video has the more it's recommended... Criminals...

(11:19) Do you believe Dr Kessler's answer that companies AREN'T intentionally trying to make their food addictive? Honestly, does their "intention" really matter or mean that they're not part of the problem of societies' health issues? 🤔

Josh, this is a start to common folks learning what food additives and the food industry are doing to them. I as down 20+ lbs. since I started listenning to you in April of this year. I will need to lose only 10 more to be at my optimum weight for my height and age. But I've done it the right way with your help. What we eat is everything in weight loss and control. I've kept off the pounds, feel better and am confident I will reach my goal with ease. Obesity will go away. Tom
HEK-293 is why theyre able to call it "naturally" flavored. Do more research folks.
Moral of the story, stay away from natural flavors!! There's nothing natural about it.
'"Addictive. That's a good word"
3:20 is the kinda of guy that doesnt season his food and say yum this is delicious 🤣
I’m interested in robust flavors, particularly Açaí. I understand plant-based sweeteners, like allulose and erythritol, which don’t spike glucose levels.
Such a Sad industry and job fake flavors !!!
Aww the old man's so cute!
I'm just waiting on a company to make White Claws without natural flavors.
"Oh, Johnny, he's so heavy! Now I got him, Johnny"
Eat whole foods. Seed baring fruits, veggies, chicken, sweet potatoes, and fresh fish.
Wow wow wee wow!!
I didn't get the whole segment until 7:12 "analogy".
@ambulancebutter Why? Is it because of the chemicals?
I wonder if these scientists eat or drink what they create. This is why I read labels.

Is artificial flavors good for you?
I am terrified.
Food is not meant to excite your taste buds. Food is meant to give you nutrients.
“Exactlyyy” 😖
Interesting but people are going to do what they’re gonna do
What is the name of this company again?
jeez they really make this out to be a hit peice
Very interesting. Nothing too new, but good to see it in the open. Hope more than 4500 people watch it, and become aware that only natural food is what they need to eat to lose weight and stay healthy!
O.M.G. 5:15 I'm eating breakfast! Good thing none of the items in my bowl have "natural" flavors!
Sick world

You are close :) But to resolve the issue everyone just needs to sit down and think, create a new definition for themselves. What is FOOD? I got a good first rule: Anything in a can, box or jar is not food. Just buy veggies or meat and spices and combine into a dish yourself! #Sweden

60 min is the best
Chicken, translated, into the flavor of... Chicken.
The "60 minutes" bug is too far in the center of the frame. Move it to a more professional size and location on the screen.

Can’t believe in ten years nobody liked this comment. Underrated, because your so right.
