The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were joined by some of the UK’s most famous actors for a recital of the famous poem ‘Twas the Night before Christmas’.
Charles and Camilla were joined by national treasures such as Maggie Smith, Joanna Lumley, Tom Hardy, Daniel Craig and more for a very special reading of the Christmas classic.
The poem was recorded in support of the Actors’ Benevolent Fund, of which The Prince has been Patron for over 20 years.

I don't know why, whenever anyone say anything good about Charles, someone else has to say something bad (but unrelated) about him. Whatever you think of him, he does has a gorgeous voice.

How utterly delightful! HRH's delivery was perfectly enthusiastic, I have not heard the Duchess of Cornwall speak at any length, such a soothing voice. My favourite actors, too, I had to learn this verbatim aged ten and the years evaporated. After a painful few days, my heart is lifted. Blessings on all. Thank you.

As a young lad in Cambridge, Prince Charles was involved in the theater community and was a member of Trinity College's drama group, the Dryden Society. He should do more of such recitation.

How wonderful. Beautifully read. I think we sometimes forget that aside from a few famous and well-to-to people in the acting (entertainment) industry, most of the professionals are not millionaires or even rich, and for most of them these times have been just as challenging.
