TW200 MotorCycle Camping in the Rocky Mountains | part 1

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I'm off to the Colorado Rocky Mountains on my Yamaha TW200 to do a 2 night MotorCycle Camping trip. I have ridden out here before but there is so much to explore with random roads going everywhere like some crazy maze. So I came out here to do some more exploring and spend the night. I was able to find a great camp spot right before dark and have a raging campfire. This was also the first time sleeping in a hammock, which was interesting to say the least. Thanks so much for watching and stay tuned for part 2, but more importantly don't forget to go on your own ADVenture!

I'm from Indiana but love CO, have been through that area on I-70 more times than I can count and love to snowboard at Loveland and A-Basin. It's a fun little game to play to see where the viewpoints you show are, just by clues in the video. I found the viewpoint at 7:26 just by looking around Georgetown (saw on a sign) and lining up certain landmarks. Love the videos and hope to explore the mountains out there on my bike in the future. Keep up the good work!

haha thank you! I put a lot of time into sound design, haha there is probably about 2 feet of snow in that camp spot right now, this was from last summer, it's been pretty cold here too, my idea was to film as many videos as possible in the summer then edit them all in the winter. got plenty more motocamping videos to come!

Looking at your hammock setup, might have been uncomfortable because it didn’t look level. Make sure you hang it level so you aren’t constantly sliding to one end. I also find hammocks more comfy overnight if I string it up pretty tight. That keeps you flatter rather than being folded in half and your knees locking out (on your back) or being bent sideways in the spine (on your side).

  • @TDubsKid
