Singen und Tanzen sind elementare Zeichen von Freiheit und Selbstbestimmung. Eine universelle Sprache, durch die sich Menschen seit Jahrtausenden ausdrücken können und die Kulturen verbindet.
Nicht überall und zu jeder Zeit ist das möglich. Insbesondere Frauen und Mädchen sind häufig die Ersten oder Einzigen, die von Verboten, Diskriminierung und Repressionen betroffen sind und die harte Strafen fürchten müssen, wenn sie sich gegen ein Leben in Unterdrückung entscheiden.
Wir leben in Zeiten, die uns tagtäglich vor Augen führen, dass man nie aufhören darf, für all das einzustehen und aufzustehen, was scheinbar selbstverständlich und doch noch lange nicht Normalität ist. Bei uns. Bei anderen.
Und besonders in Ländern wie dem Iran, in denen unsere Solidarität und auch ihr Fehlen sehr genau wahrgenommen wird und wo der Mut und die Hoffnung nur solange größer wird, solange die Welt nicht wegsieht oder vergisst.
Der Song "Baraye" von Shervin Hajipour wurde als Hymne der Protestwelle zum Symbol der Revolutionsbewegung im Iran und wir haben uns daher entschieden, mit unserer A-Cappella-Version und der Botschaft in unserem Video ein Zeichen zu setzen, ein Zeichen gegen das Wegschauen und Vergessen und ein Zeichen für Hoffnung und Freiheit. ❤️
Wir rufen alle Chöre und Ensembles dazu auf, die Botschaft weiter am Leben zu erhalten. Wie geht das? Am einfachsten, indem ihr das Arrangement kostenlos von Adrians Webseite herunterladet und ein eigenes Video dazu ins Netz stellt :)

Woman, life, freedom.
Singing and dancing are elementary signs of freedom and self-determination. A universal language through which people have been able to express themselves for thousands of years and which unites cultures.
This is not possible everywhere and always. Women and girls in particular are often the first or only ones to be affected by prohibitions, discrimination and repression, and they have to fear harsh punishment if they decide not to submit to a life of oppression.
We live in times that show us every day that we must never stop standing up for all that appears self-evident, yet is still far from normality. Here. Elsewhere.
And especially in countries like Iran, where our solidarity, but also its absence is perceived very closely and where courage and hope will only grow as long as the world does not look away or forgets.
The song "Baraye" by Shervin Hajipour became the symbol of the revolutionary movement in Iran as the anthem of the protests. We therefore decided to make a statement with our a cappella version and the message in our video, a statement against looking away and forgetting and a statement for hope and freedom. ❤️

Such an amazing cover of Iran revolution's anthem "Baraye", so well done! Shervin magically created a piece of art that is the human slogan for a fair and free life no matter where and when. This song and his creator Shervin should be celebrated forever! UN general assembly should invite Shervin for its opening ceremony, the Worldwild issues would be addressed by artists like him more than BTS!
