Im conflicted here... love hyoyeon, but this was a sad paso.. Paso is fierce and firey... its a strong dance and has alot more strength to it... this was a very sad paso... Ive noticed that many of the stronger dances, she doesnt do well in... theres no confidence at all... and shes an amazing dancer...

Really, really late answer, but she's good seeing how she never did something like that before. You can still see that she's used to a more hip-hope orientated dance still because she's really bouncy and often "stomps" a bit. Also, her arms need to be stronger, she needs to build a frame with them. She often has weak arms, loosens the frame, which makes her shoulders go up, thus creating a unflattering form. She still did good. As all dancers on this show, she needs to work on facial expressions. But that's something even the professional dancers in this show lack in. Maybe it got something to do with the culture.

also late to this party, did ballroom as a child, but the lose frame will make it hard for her partner to find her during spins since he wont know where she is. its not as common in this piece, but in her jives its most noticeable. its also important to note that a strong frame is sometimes hard to learn, and given she's maybe done these dances for a couple of months, shes doing very well. she has a tendency to close her hands, which can make it hard for her partner to find her. again, all of this is stuff that you unlearn through practice. she has a lot of potential in this style of dance. unless you have an eye for it, this seems completely flawless, which is not easy.

well it's ballroom paso doble not authentic paso. Don't misunderstand me, I don't blame the performers. Just the persistence of those in ballroom to not learn authentic. Job well done though
