@@tach1794 Yeah, I get what you're saying, I grew up with DC characters speaking english and whenever I watch anime, I watch the japanse version. But seeing DC characters (or any other characters that im used to who speaks english) in an anime and speaking Japanese is what feels weird to me.

I love that this iteration of the Squad outnumbers the capable ones than the standard team. Harley, Peacemaker, and King Shark are definitely the crazy ones who are prone to chaos if left alone while Deadshot and Clayface seem to be the ones taking charge here

Harley, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark definitely is a stacked Suicide Squad roster

I like how DC make different path from marvel and choose to exploit suicide squads, the bad guys, not the heroes. From movie, music, game and now cartoon/anime.

James Gunn who directed The Suicide Squad (2021) and being the showrunner of Peacemaker also led him to become the co-President of DC Studios and leading the DC Universe. In 2024, DCU will start with Creature Commandos animated series (Gunn wrote all the episodes).

I think it's because The Suicide Squad was the only indisputably *great* DC movie. The first Wonder Woman movie was good, but 84 completely botched it, and Aquaman was passable but not noteworthy.

There are 2 things making me want to watch this anime 1: Harley and the suicide squad all going crazy on the monster, demons and enemies 2: Joker playing a sick ass music on the piano while driving a car

​​@@changsiah2Well personally if I had say a comment on the Joker's voice actor is that I wanted his voice to be more high pitched voice but that is mainly because I always have the legendary performance of Mark Hamill of the Batman games in mind but I can't say that disappointed with the current voice actor selection. Also for Harley Quinn I think the voice actress has done a wonderful job but Aoi Yuuki would also have been a great option(if not better) especially if you think about her performance for Kodama Melone on Scarlet Nexus. We'll see!! 😊

I'm not the biggest Suicide Squad fan, but that comes down to me not really liking the movies much, I have nothing against the characters. That said, this looks right up my alley, I'm looking forward to it, the voice cast sounds great too.

Being a DC FanMan thanks to growing up with Teen Titans and watching the SyFy series of Harley Quinn even though I only watched 2 seasons of it since I'm hella behind lol, I really want to watch this in English by the time it gets released on KimCartoon! 😀 It's so ironic to me how an American-comic series would end up being so darn popular in Japan to be an anime which definitely explains the origin of Teen Titans having their own theme song in Japanese of the girls that sang Hi-Hi Puffy Ami Yumi that I've watched back in the 5th. Grade. 😁 Fri. Dec. 1st. 2023 @ 2:43pm. (9 days 'til I transform into 29 and to reach 35 months clean after Cartoonshi & Yassified cyberbullied me). 💝

Arguably this works since there is a DC character, Queen of Fables, who can literally isekai anyone she wants into a story book or summon any fairytale creature out of it. We even saw her in the ongoing Harley Quinn show
