TVam 1983 [ good morning britain] intro theme

Hi there.
In this video i mix the great intro theme from the iconic morning breakfast show TVam -later GMTV from 1983.
I have mixed this track but only giving it a slight increase in tempo and a slight lower pitch tone giving the track a more relax theme to it.
Hope you enjoy the track

I'm an 80s baby and my memory of this song is always being woken up by it in the morning because my dad would have it playing loudly after he finished his night shift. For some reason, for the last 40 years, i will occasionally have this song play in my head whenever i wake up in the morning, as if it's been etched into my head from childhood. Well i woke this morning with it my head again but i just had the urge to figure out what the hell this song was even from. I started to doubt it was even real. WELL I FOUND IT. THANKS FOR POSTING!!! lol

Just 23 old, life was good, the 80s was MAGNIFICENT. My adoring Gran, whilst in Germany used to send me letters and used to write "Its a Good Morning Britain here". R.I.P. Gran, this brings back memories, thank you.

Dad was in the Army and spent most of my childhood posted to Germany, so that's where I did a lot of growing up until I was 13. However, between 1984 and 1986 we lived in Camberley outside London and I distinctly remember getting up early at a 5 or 6 years old to watch the cartoons on TV-AM. Hearing this had awoken those memories of snuggling into the cushions on the couch in the living room in a fetal position, my hands keeping warm between my thighs, and listening to this tune while the show was not yet started. Wow. Thanks for uploading it.

I haven't heard this since I was a child and yet I can still remember some of the imagines - of pigeons flying, parachutists, people on a boat. I also remember that there was an egg in an egg cup with the year written on it! Funny what's stuck in my brain. I really like this tune - it's quite dramatic and modern.

Mid-80s. Cold, frosty February mornings. Rice Krispies with a toy in the bag. Milk from the doorstep (glass bottles with foil tops, birds had usually pecked a hole in the tops). And this tune coming from the TV.

Something about this is so special… life was indeed simpler back in those times. It’s said often but is genuinely true. Nothing else to watch on TV this time of day apart from this and BBC breakfast time. Both were compulsive viewing and I alternated BBC and ITV back in the day!
