Months ago, TR3X did a logo history on Cultura. I decided to do my own take months later. It was really fun to make. Hope you guys enjoy it!

TV Cultura is a free Brazilian television network headquartered in São Paulo and a part of Fundação Padre Anchieta. It focuses on educational and cultural subjects but also has sports as entertainment options. It launched on 20 September 1960 as C2 Cultura by Diarios Associados and Rede de Emissoras Associadas. In 1968, the São Paulo State Government bought the channel and rebranded it to TV Cultura. Between 1980 and 2007, TV Cultura became a strong educational television network, and several educational broadcasters across the country joined the network. TV Cultura is the second highest quality channel in the world, behind only BBC One, and is also the largest public television network in Brazil and Latin America.

Great video Jonty! I enjoyed this video a lot, mainly because you found more footage of the 1980s and 2010s idents compared to my video. I also like how they changed their ident again this year, and their idents look decent. Looking forward to the next video of an old favourite, Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures! That "Brazilian T of Wonder" ending is anime, LMAO

Thanks for watching! It was quite easy to find more idents of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2010s idents. I also like the 2021 idents too. They're really creative. One of my favorite logos of 2021, to be honest. Stay tuned for Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures, the company that did H.R. Pufnstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and Lidsville!

Luk Internacional S.A. Logo History [1987-Present] [Ep 199]
Actually, the áudio from the 2nd, 4th and 5th idents are all a looped signoff audio from 1982, because the original audio from these idents were Lost to time. But they were probably all the same audio from the 3rd ident.

What are your favorite idents from TV Cultura?

1976: Futuristic animation for the time, and early use of CGI. 1992: The animation is easy on the eyes, as well as the gradient background. That music is so soothing, there should be a vaporwave mix of it in the future. 1997: The music is soothing yet again, and this defines the 1990s well. The stop motion animated idents are brilliant! 2005: The baroque-style music reminds me of the British idents from the late 20th century, and the transition of the logo symbol zooming at the end reminds me of a sports intro. 2006: The channel features culture in the idents which is a nice feature; this ident also defines the 2000s well again. 2014: Nice tribute to the old idents from the 1960s to 2013.

Agreed with what TR3X PR0DÚCTÍ0NS said. These idents from TV Cultura (Culture TV) are brilliant. As for the 1976 ident, the interesting fact about it is that (I think) it's the first television ident to feature use of CGI/3D computer graphics. My favourite idents would be four of them, being the 1976 ident, the 1992 ident, the 1997 ident, and the 2011 ident.

2005 - A TV Cultura chega ao Rio de Janeiro através da TV Passaponte no Canal 32,mas a afiliação dura até 2007 2015- TV Cultura volta ao Rio de Janeiro ao TV Passaponte e em 2017 muda o Nome para a TV Universo 2024 - TV Cultura inaugura a sua emissora própria no Rio de Janeiro no canal 16.1

@@diaquallo The entity responsible by this channel is a non-profit organization called Fundação Padre Anchieta (a non-latin rearrangement would be Priest Anchieta Foundation).

I've been thinking of doing Treehouse Originals, but I won't do it on episode 200, because episode 200 will have to be something big. Like an ident history or something. But I will definitely do Treehouse Originals in the future!
