We may not know the actual reason why he’s not yet attained more ranks but I personally suspect he may not have met some requirements like attaining some academic documents Most kadogoz were required to resume school after the war, some did and some failed to.. Maybe Those that never went back haven’t been promoted beyond certain ranks!... Someone that’s knowledgeable about the subject may enlighten us...

As you may not be aware,in Uganda today, Military Ranks are acquired depending on the Technical Know Who! Without Nepotism and favouritism, David Muhozi's suitable rank is Lieutenant! If he goes to battle against Arrow Boys or Amuka boys or Karimojong Warriors, they will catch him alive!

In updf promotion ranks,I promotion they don't follow army number for seniors many soldiers are retiring while they have saved long withought promotion if don't have some one how can't favour you, you can't get promotion many soldiers are un happy mostly oldone,mostly people they have forgotten there origin,also on they retirement they going home with little money ,old soldiers they brought peace young soldiers are enjoying,ipeal government to promote old soldiers also on retirement let go with good packege,why can't army pay saraly inseniorete and ranks why God will reward you every thing has beginng and end,do you know on every thing can change,exceptGod
