RMC Plant Certification Scheme is primarily for Ready mix concrete plants. Apart from commercial plants, captive plants can also opt for this certification. Ready mix concrete manufacturers association (RMCMA) and Quality Council of India (QCI) joined hands with an intent to develop an auditable criteria focusing on strengthening the RMC manufacturing processes to gain stakeholder confidence in the quality of RMC being produced. This is how the scheme came into existence.
