I am using air dry clay which name is 'I clay' from South Korea
You can use 'Super light clay' or 'Ultra light clay' in Amazon.com
Unlike polymer clay or sculpey, it is a clay that does not need to be baked in an oven and naturally hardens.

This is exactly what I have been trying to find. I always saw everybody make perfect legs and I never knew how. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much for the tutorial I've been trying to sculpt my own figure but sculpting legs where my biggest struggle and there are not a lot of tutorials on you tube on how to sculpt legs there where some tutorials about sculpting but it wasn't properly explained and your video is exactly what I needed

once the clay dries, does it have that hard feeling or that fluffy feeling, and does it break apart over time?

When hardened, it has some elasticity. It stays in its condition and does not break. In the case of legs, attach a brass rod to fix the character so that he can stand.

Is the question about smooth surfaces? The surface is easily bumpy even with low force. Through training, you will learn how to control the strength of your clay grip. When cleaning the surface, use a tool that is flatter than your hand.

How long does it take to dry before you can start working on tbe next sections?

In the case of legs, dry for at least 8 hours before moving on. It is recommended to work on bases such as legs/torso after they are completely dry.
Can someone recommend a good brand?
May I know how I dry it ?or it will just stay soft and not hard?

The clay that I use hardens in the air within 1-2 days.

@@eve9525 Sure! Polymer clay is a better material for sculpting. I use air dry clay because polymer clay is expensive.

What's the lenth for legs with comparason to body

It is different for each character, but assuming 18cm, the body is 7cm and the legs are 11cm in proportion. The legs are made a little longer (12-13cm) because they are connected to the hip line of the torso.

It is important to find a ratio that you think is good at the time.

Start by completing the proportion or leg line rather than making a perfect result at once.
how do you make a leg on a brass rod? is it the same process?

I finish the legs first, and when it is about 80% dry, I drill a hole with a drill and insert a brass rod.

this doesn’t make any sense it’s so hard my leg looks terrible it doesn’t even look like a leg and it’s not even full found one side if flat because i’m on a table i hate this terrible don’t use this tutorial
