He sound designs like every time, he himself said that a lot of times he used to go to the college (or whatever) and just sit with producer friends, and they would just put weird sound onto weird plugins and just save all the sounds. Whenever you make a bass in serum, save it. A dubstep/riddim bass can be a tape stop bass, a transition bass, a talking bass, not only growl. And, of course, a bit of synthesis knowledge would help a lot too

Juan Emiliano Gomez a lot of his basses are in wave files. He said he did them in sound design sessions. Which means that there are probably hundreds of trash sounds. A lot of these sounds happen by chance lol
