Tutorial: The easiest way to Build a Cargo Bike (officine | recycle)
What I really like about our workshop is the fact that it is an open place. It is always ready to host new friends from various parts of the world. It is really a magic place, where people can share their knowledge and skills in any field: kitchen, music, art, and of course bicycles.
This allows us to travel while standing still and also to meet great people.
Thomas visited us a year ago with his pregnant wife on vacation, after an year he returned in order to learn how to build a cargo bike using our own DIY kit. He built a Bronte XL with his own hands, and decided to make a short video about it!!

I used to courier with a very similar designed frame, best ride ever.. 140kg weight with a 500W Bafang mid drive. 140-160km a day using 2 fully charged batteries. Within the hour deliveries...
The best part of the video is the guy getting hydrated during the build. Lol

Great video, thanks! Your bikes are beautiful, i'm following your instagram and have to say you're pretty damn good! I have a question - so you braze tubes together after tack welding them with a MIG? I've weld my cargobike with MIG but it's not strong enough. Should i braze it like in your video to make it stronger? Appreciate any advice!

Hi, in general brazing is not stronger than Mig welding. Can you share a bit more about your geometry so that we can be more helpful? Cheers!

@@lucazeoli1147 ok capito. Il nostro rimando è composto da una parte dritta lunga circa 70cm per la Bronte XL e 50cm per la Bronte (praticamente come il pianale di appoggio). Poi inizia la curva che arriva fino alla forcella.
