No problem!

Being an Audiophiliac, and an auto electrician, one point that he failed to point out that IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT for a true balanced audio setup AND not risk blowing your hifi amp chip, is YOU MUST ENSURE you wire up each POSITIVE WIRE TO EACH POSITIVE CONNECTOR ON THE SPEAKER.... Failure to do so helps to make your new speakers/hifi setup sound, well..... Crap!... Seems logical, but soooo many get this simple thing wrong... 🤔😏 Anyway... Nice Punto you have there fella... 😎

Damn, wish my crossover box was as small as yours. I've cut the midwoofer's cable to power both mids and tweeters through the crossover box. Got a new stereo too with a subwoofer and it sounds really good though =)

thanks for the video, it helped me prepare the materials in advance without having to disassemble the doors twice. I have a fiat 199 2007 (3 doors). I use it for the daily commute to work, music is essential. I put speakers in the front doors and 2 subwoofers on the rear shelf each with 100w rms and a diameter of 20cm each connected to the rear speakers. the audio player on my fiat does not have cd mp3, I bought a bluetooth module from amazon, everything is fine. if you want to know what speakers I used ... set of 2 hifonics vx-6.2e 2 ways(incl. tweeters) 100w rms / peak max 200w. 90e on amazon 2 x Rockwood Subwoofer 200 mm 80w RMS / peak 200w. 33 euro on amazon (each) two rings adapter for front doors ...about 10e Self-Adhesive Aluminium Butyl for Noise Isolation . No AMP, just stock autoradio. the investment cost about 220e and 2-3 hours of work. the sound is very good BUT ... you should take into account the distortion and the fact that the car players are not focused on bass, for a lot of bass you need AMP. no matter how high quality the speakers are, there will be sound distortion. for example the fiat player at level 40 (maximum) of the volume, the sound is no longer clear and the bass ... you have the impression that the speakers break even though the player does not have more than 40w RMS. I also tried another Head UNIT, an alpine 8951r, same result . but if I lower the volume to 32/40, the sound is very good, clear and with enough bass. as a result, the difference is very large, the standard speakers had broken membranes due to time, and lower quality. now the road to work is not so boring, 45 km drive to work. if you need help you can write to me, I am good at mechanics, electronics ... Liebach I get what you’re saying but make sure to locktite them or something because you don’t want them vibrating loose. Also, it’s not common to upgrade multiple times, go with what you want the first time!

Goede vraag, daar hou ik van! Ik heb ze gewoon inline gemonteerd. Ik was me bewust van de bestaande tweeter channel en dat de originele radio waarschijnlijk al een cross over had, dus dubbel maakt dan ook niet meer uit. Wilde ze niet-niet gebruiken!

I'm mainly wondering about stuff like night vision (good headlights), wind/road noise @90~140km/h, does the interior crack/squeak and if does is it treatable?

I'm really in love with the T-jet. It has a great torque and power feeling from factory and has a lot of option if you want to upgrade the performace with bigger turbo's and all. It has a solid community which can help with any problem you might face. The headlights are normal I'd say, but I upgraded them with LED bulbs which make them way brighter but not blinding to oncoming traffic. It doesn't squeak or crack when driving slow or fast, roadnoise would be mostly which type and brand of tire you take. I really like the car, for it's pricepoint and what you get, there just isn't anything in comparison. Hope it helps, cheers!

What is the diameter of the speakers, in the front and in the back.

How did you install the new tweeter? The composet I bought has a bigger tweeter than the original one and it doesnt fit in the same place where the original tweer is in. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Indian Tech Support I shaved off little bits of plastic so they would fit in the existing plastic clips, if that doesn’t work for your tweeter you might want to fabricate a bracket of some sort to hold it in place

Can you leave the doors without the whit stock foil cause i found out that is what is making the bass sound weird in my car because that foil keeps rattling if i just put sound damping or isolation strip pieces like u did is that good enough?

You can leave it without the white moist barrier, or order a complete new one. I removed mine completely and put sounds dampening basically everywhere

Just buy the bluetooth module, is like 40 euro's and worth every cent. You connect to blue and me for calls and blue music for media, you'll have both. You connect it to the cd-changer output of the radio.

Does anyone know how the crossover setup works? I am guessing because the factory speakers are components, there is a crossover somewhere. How do we replace that crossover for the new one that comes with the speakers?

The factory headunit/radio does the crossover from factory, also the crossover came with this particular set but I doubt it really makes a great difference if you’re running the factory headunit..factory are indeed already components, they are separate from factory as you probably already knew. Now for the tweeters I can imagine it negligible, but for an aftermarket subwoofer I took the signals from the rear two speakers and made sure to get an amp with crossover built in, you defined dont want the subwoofer acting like a speaker/normal woofer

Hi, I found something on the internet and found that if you have 3 door you need to extract the rear seats and get of the plastic things. Its very hard and I dont want to do it 💀 Maybe with some professional

Het is niet erg dat een speaker minder vermogen heeft dan het maximale muziek vermogen van de versterker. Maar het is dan niet heel wijs om het volume volledig op te schroeven.

Vraagje: ik ben zelf ook bezig met het vervangen van mijn speakers. De linker speakers zijn rood met een zwarte streep en de andere zijn wit met een zwarte streep. Aan de rechterkant zijn ze zwart met een paarse streep en wit met een rode streep. Hoe weet ik wat bij deze kabels de + en de - is?

Je kunt het beste even doormeten met wat een PLUS en MIN is als je het zeker wil weten, of op internet naar een wire-diagram zoeken om erachter te komen welke PLUS en MIN zijn..in de regel is zwart altijd MIN en rood PLUS..

R V je hebt twee manieren, via een ingebouwde aux kabel, of via diezelfde aux kabel en dan daaraan een aux naar bluetooth unit

Het is geen stuurhoes, het is een vervanging voor het bestaande leer door echt Italiaans leer. Zoek even op “lartpelle”

Dan moet je een USB in je dashboard kastje doen, in die USB poort bovenin, op die USB moet je wat audiobestanden plaatsen in MP3. Die speelt hij dan af maar die hoor je niet, dan kan je via de aux je eigen muziek horen
