(Tutorial Series) Minuet in G BWV Anh 114 (Lesson)

Музыка

I show you step by step and note by note how to play the long attributed to Bach the famous Minuet in G on the piano. It's a simple piece that's really fun to play, and hopefully this helps you learn it faster! :D

    For as long as anyone can remember there have been questions about some Bach pieces, as well as Beethoven's, of whether or not they were written by these great composers. Or were they attributed to the artist, or just in the style of the artist? No one may ever know about this piece for sure, but that is not what this channel is about, nor will we debate it here.

    Can you do a video explaining what legato and staccato mean?

  • @ThePianoforever

    It's easy! Legato means to play connected and smoothly, staccato means to play the notes disconnected, and short.

    Should I add dynamics to this piece?

  • @ThePianoforever

    @ThePianoforever

    5 жыл бұрын

    In Bach's time he would have played this piece on instruments (Organ, Clavichord) that did not have the capability of dynamics as we know them on the piano. It is for this reason that many people will tell you to not use dynamics on Back's work and certainly dynamics should be limited, but small amounts could be used with discretion.
