Tutorial: Sequencing with VCV Rack

Музыка

Sequencers are the unsung heroes of Modular Synthesis. By simply twisting some knobs you'll find melodies you never would have come up with otherwise.
In this video you'll learn that sequencing with VCV Rack is actually pretty easy, but there are a few things to keep in mind though.

I'm trying to learn about generative patches and sequencers through Mod Synthesis so this is very straight forward, which is something I need! Very appreciated, thank you!

Thank you so much, this was exactly what I was looking for. I was struggling with the trig output being short, thanks for resolving this for me. I also learnt the scale mode in the quantizer, so cool. God bless you 😊🙏❤️

Great! Thanks. Just a note, when I slowed down the video to 75% , I could keep up much better. Maybe it's just me. Thank you for the video !

I'm still trying to get an answere as to whether the free version (not the paid one with VST) can be used to make music with my DAW. So far no one seems to be addressing this issue at all.It seems use less if you can't somehow record audio from VCV rack and I don't Know why no one is covering this basic feature.

Hey, good point! You can definitely record audio inside VCV Rack by using the VCV Recorder module. I'll make a video about it next week, thanks for the tip!

NEED TO PAY FOR THE PRO VERSION TO LOAD IT AS AN INSTRUMENT IN YOUR DAW...sorry...not shouting..

If you cant pay for the pro version, I would recommend using the Cardinal VST. It's free, open source and have almost everything you need to start.
