Hi Leigh. You did great with your tutorial. I am on Anna's Design Team and have made several of these, some of which were on the HSN shows Tuesday. If I may make a couple of suggestions for the assembly. Attach the two cake top layers together first before attaching to the bottom plate. Also there is a score line at the edge of the cake top layers so if you fold there first, you will not have the kink that you got when putting on the top layer. When attaching to card base, leave cake folded when gluing the back side at center crease. Then apply glue to front side and open flat to adhere to the base. This makes sure your cake fold is straight and won't buckle when folded. One last suggestion is to use a flat bone folder to slide under cake when you attach to card base so you get a good connection with the glue. Hope this is helpful.
