Been using VSeeFace for a while, and honestly, for a free program it's really great. Glad to see you making a tutorial on this. (hadn't even thought of toggling clothing with expressions, interesting...)

I had been wondering if extra expressions/blendshapes would show up in VSeeFace once I learn enough to add them... glad to see they do!

Thanks for doing this. I wanted to explain to my friends how to do this, but you explained things way better than I could. So I just sent them all this video.

Veseeface is what I use ! I love it to death and Also Marie is so so so sweet character as you >~ thank you for this sweet tutorial I missed making movies so much ! sigh ....

The inspiration you give is just amazing

I had the same worry with too many expressions being weird with the experimental mode, but the trick is to get as many expressions as possible within neutral and if something like anger still triggers too often, you can omit that one from calibration. You can still toggle some and have expression detection for the rest.

VSeeFace is really great i have used it for multiple streams and even the lowest quality tracking is better than some other programs

People complaining about clipping in this free program need to remind themselves that *professional, big-time videogame companies* can also not avoid clipping. Like Link's hat. 35 years down the line, it *still* clips into the shield.

People complain about Vroid all the time and its a free program too. I bring up the clipping because it is an anomaly. The creator is aware, I've talked to her about it. The other programs I mentioned this week dont have that issue. BUT depending on the model it could cause a real issue when streaming. So this is more of trying to be informative about things.

Wait! how in the world did you do the moving hearts around your head?! It looks like you did an instant transition time? Yet the texture/hearts still move? How is that possible?

thats not the tracking program, thats the model and where the colliders are.

VSeeFace part works great but when I record a video using OBS (using game capture for vseeface), in those videos output is very jittery and laggy. Do I need to change some settings or my average laptop can't handle it?

I think it will still support it, but I do know they were moving away from vroid avatars in general.

Hi, great tutorial! ✨ I still have a question and it's.. How does your Avatar move so fluid and fast.. Bc.. Mine takes 1 or 2 seconds to move, after I moved.. ^^; I wonder if my Laptop is too slow or there's a setting to make it faster?

Sometimes there is a delay but not seconds but milliseconds. Although Vseeface does take a moment to calibrate to your face when you first launch it (every time its launched)

there is an option to bring up face tracking points, should be listed directly on screen. Do that and see if its seeing your face. Then you may want to go into the settings and make sure your OCS protocol is not checked, same with your iphone ark receiver

wait how did you get more expression in that window? Those are custom ones? I had plan to use built-in one to do using my face but after watching you it might be better the way you said it. I don't have the skills to make my own custom ones into my VRoid model. You have videos on making custom expression step by step using Unity? I have zero skills in Unity setting that up and then making it show up as commend in VseeFace. Any help would be nice plz 🙇🏻

1:45 What happens if you put the FPS higher? I would test it myself but my laptop can't handle it so my fps is pretty bad and I can't see a difference because of it.

vseeface doesnt have green background, but if you want you can put a green image behind the model to record and green screen it out after.

My Galaxy A12 android phone says it doesn't know how to open vseeface.exe. What am I missing?

you just add a game capture and set it to Vseeface. Make sure the game capture is set to capture transparancy

Hi! I dont usually comment on videos but I really need to ask, my vroid model stops tracking my face when i open a game (specifically genshin impact) but works just fine when i open apps like discord, chrome, etc. Is there a way to fix it? your model looks gorgeous btw! ^^

I'm not sure, but I do know people that have had issues with vseeface and genshin in particular. But never had this problem myself. They've released an updated version this week, maybe try the update?

@@ArgamaWitch I've tried it with the update, just went back to recheck if the problem still remains. I found out that it doesnt stop completely and can move for a little while but freezes again at random times. I suspect lag but I'm not sure.

@@xen4273 when you select your avatar there is a benchmark option to optimize the program a bit so you can see if your pc can handle it or at what settings it should be at

@@ArgamaWitch It doesn't affect it somehow, their settings for my PC is 24fps, high quality. I've tried doing lower but it still freezes. I've also tried running it on administrator and without etc. still the same. I've seen other streamers whose models are still fine playing genshin, so I'm not sure.

if you follow my enhanced expression tutorial, you would have to make the jacket and mask their own blendshape, and turn them off and off the way explained in the video

Basically, on the tracking phase where it syncs the model with my face, it keeps glitching and moving into one position and repeatedly moving back between the starting position and where it decides to move.

It's having trouble with finding your face it seems. The blue lines show where your face is out of bounds. You may need to adjust the camera

How do you turn it into greenscreen for recording instead of streaming?

there is no green screen, you have to capture this with "game mode" and set that to transparent. (I've asked them in the past for green but no luck) There is a little [x] in the bottom of the screen that will make the menu go away and reappear. You can hit space to make that x go away

I tend to not emote much so the expression detection wouldn't useful

My VSEEFACE DOESN'T WANNA READ MY FACE. . . . i use a app from my phone :( it shows the webcam option in the app but doesn't read me at all. it did the very first time i used it but i didn't think i would use it so i stopped, and when i changed my mind i went back to it but it still doesn't wanna track me, it shows my avatar stuck in place just every now an then moving mouth as expression.... ugh
