What would a peacock be without some "bling"! At one time, we lived next to some property where they had peacocks. I decided to drive by the place with our grandson, who was about eighteen months old. It happened that as we stopped on the road, the male peacock spread his tail feathers. Our grandson exclaimed: "Oh! That bird has flowers on his tail!" Such a precious memory!

He is gorgeous. I was in Tasmania years ago visiting my sister in law. My first day there I heard a lot of noise in a neighbouring field ( they lived in the country). I thought it was a Tasmanian Devil and went to look. It was a flock of peacocks! Lots of weird animals in Australia.
