Steam no longer works on Winlator version 5.0 I'm not sure either Steam stopped working on Emulator or Winlator stopped the app.. Edit: Steam still does not work on Winlator v6.0

Great tutorial - directly to point, clear text instruction where we don't have to decipher bad pronunciation, no fancy pointless stuffs. Too bad it doesn't work now! Tried version 6.0 and used wine 9.2(need to externally dl & add) but that doesn't even show webhelper error at all, most of those exe-s used to run just hangs. Just stick to wine 8.x. Guess we'll have to wait for Cessia which will support steam ootb iirc

I searched up steam wine and downloaded it to my phone, it then appears in D drive in winlator

On the Graphics Driver section switch to VirGL. I do not have a Mediatek device to test it out

Is it stuck on checking for updates? Maybe try redoing it many times?

Im not even gonna attemt this lol but it sure would be nice to actually get gta Iv on my s20. So far its all looking staged, i mean hell how do you even find a cracked version to successfully install that’s not gonna need rockstarlauncher, or steam to run in the background or that you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get. So far the only option seems like installing the Steam version and then downgrading it with the zolkia mod but i highly doubt its doable, somebody prove me wrong please.

You can download GTA 4 at fitgirl-repack.site it would be around 30gb. I don't know how she do it, no need Rockstar launcher to run

steam only appears as a black line for a second and then the whole app crashes.

1. It’s not an emulator it’s a Linux container that uses WINE and a x64 compatibility layer (similar to Apple’s Game Porting Toolkit on MacOS) 2. WINE literally stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator.

Most phones (and Apple Silicon Macs) don't have x64 processors. The CPU instructions have to be emulated.

@@jordanb2812 it translates Android API calls to POSIX calls and then translates that into windows ARM edition API calls. Not emulating AMD_X86_64
