Tutorial: How to Install an Acari Drill-Free Mounting Platform on a Super Duty

In this video, we're showing how we attach the 16" Whelen Mini LED Light Bar to the Acari Drill-Free Mounting Platform and how to mount the platform to your Super Duty. In the shop, we have a Super Duty truck with a service body. Even if you have the standard tailgate bed, this method will work, as long as you can access your third brake light.

*Note: The 11", 16" or 23" size Whelen Mini LED Light Bar will fit on this Acari Drill-Free Mount.
Installation Tools:
- Drill with a Phillips bit
- Drill with 7mm socket
- #1 Phillips head screw driver
- Additional fuse holder to better protect the circuit
- Wire cutters
- Wire strippers
- Scotch Super 33+ electrical tape
- 7/16 wrench
- 7/16 ratcheting wrench

After your mini light bar is mounted to the top of the Acari Mounting Platform, follow the steps within this video to finish installing the platform with the light bar to your vehicle. Good job buddy. We also upfit trucks.I was just going to say that when you brought your wiring through the firewall grommet, the small rubber tit on the grommet is a factory (wire pass through) . It's provided from Ford for that reason. Enjoyed the vid.

Yes we are aware, however when you cut the end of the tit off it opens a large hole, that does not self seal around the wire. This is why we prefer to use to wire insertion tool. Thanks for the info.
I like how you can still keep the 3rd brake light stock.

Does the Acari mount work with the 3rd brake light with OEM camera in it??

Did this light originally come with a cigarette light wire connected to it. I’m looking to hardwire it like yours, but I found one that has a cigarette lighter on it.

There are two options for this particular light bar. One is a magnet mount with the cigarette cord and the other is a permanent mount with hard wire. www.wickedwarnings.com/product/whelen-mini-led-bar/
If you want to be able to change flash patterns where do you wire the third wire
