You are my hero! I live in a country that mostly everything is infected by sanctions! (Which I believe has nothing to do with the art and artists) but anyway I can't find the supplies that I need and also I can't buy them from the internet because of sanctions as I said before, there is no way to get access to the international market and no payments methods are accepted from my country! I can't even subscribe to the KZread channels that need membership not for the amount of money but it doesn't work with us too! So what I'm trying to say is that the channels like yours are the only solution for the artists like me to learn, I'm a mixed media artist and the collage is my obsession, I'm so lucky to find some supplies like Geliprint (before the pandemic once a year I could travel to abroad and buy some of these goodies for myself) and now that I can watch your tutorials and the other artists free channels, you look like an angel for me. Sorry for saying too much and took your time but I just wanted you to know how much your video sharing is helpful and important to me. Thanks for sharing your artwork tutorial with us and I hope you enjoy the process and wish you a great happy days in your awesome studio not only Sundays but every day 😀

@@FroyleArt I used to live in France but since my mother has been sick I've returned to my country Iran, but the silly political decisions of the government and its political consequences have made life very difficult for most people who are suffering from sanctions and being isolated from the world and the other Global community in many ways. I myself can go back to France where I studied and got my PhD degree but it's not a matter of being able to move abroad but it's my mothers issues with the sickness that she has, and since I'm her only child so I feel that I have to take care of her, when I needed her help to move to Paris and continue my studies she did her best and now obviously is my turn to make it easier for her to get through these days.

It’s a beautiful piece with the colors, textures and focal image. You’ve inspired me to play with some of my print “failures” and reclaim them, trying something different with them. (I’ve learned in papercrafting to never throw away your “mistakes.” They often end up being beautiful additions to whatever you’re working on.🤨)

The transfer on the gel plate will be the size you have, unless you create the image transfer without the plate, then that is a different technique 👍🏼😘

Can one use mod poge to glue things?

I used a royalty free photo from unsplash, printed as a colour laser copy. I have found this technique to be the best for me 👍🏼

No, You don't want to put your photo on the gel plate. But you can take a print of your photo and use that, cheers Froyle

@@eross21 Yes it's fabulous to use, because it is a soft surface, unlike printing on glass or some other material. I use a Gelli Arts Printing Plate. I have had it for 6 years and I just love it. There are so many ways to take great prints, you're only limited by your imagination & your desire to experiment! Actually I'm really not sure what it is made of! But it does make great art! Can you use inkjet prints and are they on matte paper

No inkjet prints won’t give you a good transfer as you need the toner of the laser copy to resist the paint & stick to the gel plate. I use colour laser copies on standard paper from my local office shop 👍🏼 this works best for me 😘
