The purpose of the competition is to nominate Sweden's representative for the European music competition Eurovision Song Contest. You are a bit wrong, the Eurovision Song Contest hasn’t been sent yet, only the countries own finals has been sent! The video you saw was the live performance from Sweden’s Song Contest. There was NO AUDIENCE at this live broadcast. You could maybe listen to Sweden’s winners for 2020 and react to. Search for “Melodifestivalen” and “vinnare”. Maybe you should also know that “Tusse” came as a lonely child from Congo when he was 8 years old, he escaped from the wars. Lives with a Swedish family since then. Unfortunately he lost his parents during his travels to Sweden. We are proud to have him represent our country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. I think he has really blossomed since he came to Sweden ❤️. I interpret the lyrics as the people that are stuck in the war zone still 😰

Swedish composers and music producers have took part in composition and producing K POP idols' songs since late 2000s. I think it contributed the globalization of K POP. My most favorite Swedish music producers are Andreas Oberg and Cazzi Opeia. Andreas Oberg took part in composition of Red Velvet's Umpas Umpah, Monsta X's Follow and Oh my girl's Windy Day and so on. Cazzi Opeia took part in the composition of TWICE's Dance the night away, ITZY's ICY, Red Velvet's Psycho and so on. Zara Larsson is one of composers of TWICE's More & More. Swedish Ambassador to Korea was proud that Swedish music producers participated in composition of K POP idols' hit songs.

Others has probably said this already, but still x) This was 100% his live performance 😊 They solved it this year by only having audience via videolink, so about a hundred or more screens of people watching from home, and no audience in the studio. And that's probably how they will solve Eurovision too, but with the contestants and crews as the in house audience. But this is very much how the stages usually looks during the performances of the Melody festival. Pyrotechnics and lasershows isn't uncommon, as well ass amazing animated backgrounds, kameraeffects and lightsettings, everything live 😊 I really love this song and performance, and I was so happy that Tusse won ❤ He's a refugee, not sure from where, but he came to Sweden alone when he was very young. He mentioned that he connected this song with that experience, which just makes it even more amazing to me.

Tusse got my attention on the first semi finals a few days ago. I am Dutch and it is in a big stadion in Rotterdam. Yes we absolutely have a huge audience, and the regulations are very strict but apparently everyone was approved to enter. On Saturday 9Pm so 3pm New York time is the finals. His suit on the stage was even more stylish. I watched several of his performances and he is an amazing singer :) His name Toussin means Toussaints, or Allsaints. For the EVSF it is very likely that France will win, a really fabulous French old Ballad like Edith Piaf. Your comments are really great although I would prefer them before or after the song, just my two cents. ;-) enjoy Saturday.

Tusse won not only bc of this song and his voice but what it represent, idk if you know the meaning of this song but its about coming together and to be accepted, also how he felt like an outsider experiencing rasism and his journey from the war in Kongo kinshasa as a 7 year old with his aunt in a refugee camp in Uganda and his struggles with coming to sweden. Its about hope and how he wish everyone to be who they are and that everyone matters.

We are told how to act, to work from home if possible, not go to pubs, etc while many countries force, put laws up so that their citizens stay indoors, etc. Sweden rises and falls on the intelligence and stupidity of its citizens during covid.

Noooooooooooooo, misconception. We have very strict rules and most entertainment events are completely closed down since last year. It was max 50 ppl in a room, and max 8 ppl knowing each other at one table, until oct last year. Then everything closed down to 4 ppl, no serving of alcohol after 8.00 PM and no entertainment what so ever. There's also very strict policys about keeping distance and shops all have strict limits to how many people can visit at the same time. Do I agree? NO! Because now it's too late to stop the spread anyway, and keeping people (est 200 000 ppl in Sweden) in the restaurant and entertainment business unemployed and in many cases without any kind of economic help causing people to lose their homes and life long investments in their businesses. I'm a DJ at 52 and have no way to support my family since the last restrictions were enforced upon us. I managed to stay clear from covid as long as I were out there working, but as soon as I was confined in my home for a few weeks (''stay home, stay safe'' what a joke!), I got it from my partner who works at a care facility for elderly people. Fortunately the whole family got good genes, so none of us got sick, at all. All the performances at melodifestivalen were live, but without an audience of course. So all the credits to the artists and the stage crew who made it look like a pre recorded music video.
