Somehow I like everything about this cover so much more than the original. The contrast in how the voice changes and what her voice is capable of versus the original that wouldn't have caught my ear at all. The changes to what the emphasis is placed on. The minimalistic accompaniment that repaints the soundscape entirely. The subtle changes to the lyrics (sound of _sirens_; _will_ you draw the line; _someone_ else) that make it a song with more relatable meaning. Pretty damn good vocals recording too, I imagine the dynamic range after 4:12 must have been a pain in the neck to minimize clipping on in the same take.

The original is by a Oxford band called FOALS I'd say the original is better however they are my fav band so I am slightly corrupt aha
